I have a question, why can't I create my own user page? I don't have permission.

To answer your question, you have to contribute to the mainspace several times, though the number of times is unknown, before that privilege is made available to you. I don't seem to be able to edit any pages. Do I need to make a certain number of mainspace edits to do that? Also, what is the mainspace? Bravebravesirbrian (talk) 01:40, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

Nevermind, I'm only unable to edit certain pages, such as the page about Galar. Is that page protected because it's new? Bravebravesirbrian (talk) 01:45, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

That's right, certain pages especially new ones like for the two new main series games are protected for most users. PardescanSlowbro (talk) 01:48, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

Linking Pokémon articles

Hey! Whenever you link Pokémon articles, it is always important to use the {{p}} template in order to avoid leaving behind a redirect. For example, {{p|Gumshoos}} is the correct usage, not [[Gumshoos]]. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:32, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
