By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Signing.

I've noticed you have been forgetting to sign quite often recently. Could you please make sure that you remember in future. Thanks! AquaMaster 20:59, 24 November 2011 (UTC) Sorry mate, I can't sign for some reason on my laptop. Anaserfrdrews12798 23:03, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

Talk page

As per the Talk page policy, you're not allowed to remove messages from your talk page. Also, please do not re-revert when someone has undone one of your edits. That is called edit warring, and is considered an offense. Thanks. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 15:18, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Sorry bout that. But is this not my talk page? Is it part of my profile or is it for the public to see? I'm new here so help is appreciated. Anaserfrdrews12798 15:41, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
Everyone can see your talk page and userpage (what you called a profile). It's required to keep constructive messages on a talk page for documentation and so you can easily refer back to them if you, or anyone else ever needs them. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 15:47, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
Fair enough, but this policy seems a little bit patronizing in that it labels this Talk page as mine and yet apparently I have no free will to remove messages that I have fully understood and wish to remove for my own reasons... Anaserfrdrews12798 15:54, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
It's not so much yours, like a piece of property; you didn't purchase it. It's yours as it is an easy way for other users to contact you. You can spruce it up and make it unique, but it will always simply be a contact medium between users. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 16:03, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
Well I suppose I can't win then, I'll go with what the "elders" say. Not particularly happy but It's fine. Anaserfrdrews12798 16:15, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
