History

Shannon was born in Snowpoint City and dreamed of traveling the world and to learn and experience anything and everything he could about pokèmon. Before he was old enough to start his journey however, he stumbled upon a young Eevee that was lost and injured. He took it home to nurse it back to health, but his mother told him he was too young to have a pokémon and to take the Eevee to Nurse Joy at the Pokémon Center. However, Shannon and Eevee had quickly formed a bond and instead of listening to his mother, Shannon kept Eevee in a storage space and raised it himself.

On his tenth birthday, Shannon's mother surprised him with a letter that he could receive his first pokémon from Prof. Rowan. Although he wanted Eevee to be his first pokémon, Shannon agreed so his mother wouldn't become suspicious. Before leaving to Sandgem Town however, Shannon and Eevee went for a walk in the snowy wilderness around Snowpoint. They bonded and wondered what they would find on their journey, unknowingly approaching an Ice Rock, and exposure to it caused Eevee to evolve into a Glaceon.

Shannon went to Sandgem Town to meet Prof. Rowan and wound up choosing a Chimchar as his starter pokémon, and with Glaceon and Chimchar at his side he began his journey.
