The Pokémon Colosseum series (Japanese: ポケモンコロシアムシリーズ Pokémon Colosseum series, officially Pocket Monsters' Colosseum series) was a spin-off series of Pokémon games for the Nintendo GameCube released during Generation III and compatible with the games of that generation. In the games of this series, players can upload Pokémon from their Game Boy Advance games to battle in 3D in Stadium Mode, featuring various classes for Trainers to beat; extra gameplay, however, was included in the form of an RPG which allowed Trainers to catch Generation II and Generation III Pokémon, as the games take place in the desolate region of Orre. Players who didn't have any core series games could still rent almost all 386 Pokémon at the time in certain modes.
