Some cards have TAG TEAM cameos, an appearance of teams depicted on one of the TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX in their artwork along with the subject of the card. ^[1] Cards with TAG TEAM cameos appear in the sets Unified Minds and Cosmic Eclipse, after the debut of TAG TEAM Pokémon in Team Up.

These cards all have effects that reference TAG TEAM Pokémon that the player has in play, either working exclusively with TAG TEAMS or improving with the presence of a TAG TEAM. ^[1] However, this is not exclusive to cards with TAG TEAM cameos, as many cards without TAG TEAM cameos have effects relating to TAG TEAM cards.

Because the identities of each of the TAG TEAM Pokémon were significant parts in the marketing of the Sun & Moon Series sets from Team Up onward, both Kangaskhan and Drifblim had Raichu and Alolan Raichu blurred out of their artwork when they were previewed in Japan.
