The day before my 19th birthday, it is time for me to say goodbye to Bulbapedia. Over the nearly four years, nearly three of which I've been an administrator, there's been ups and downs, I've made friends and enemies, but, whatever. I regret nothing. Not having much to contribute anymore and being left out of a lot of administrator-related discussions are two of many reasons. I seem misunderstood around here, and not many people like me, but I'd like to make it clear that I'm not leaving because of them. They don't matter. Fuck 'em.

There's a lot I could comment on here, but I'm leaving a site, not retiring from sport after a twenty-year season. If I did that, it'd be annoying to me. Like how administrators feel like they need to inform the rest of us when they won't be around their computers (or Bulbagarden specifically) for a few days. The site won't rot away because you are having other experiences in life rather than staying on the 'garden all night, not that there's anything wrong with that (seriously). Lighten up.

Typing this, I have an odd feeling of sadness and relief. Hopefully I've at least left you with something to ponder. I'm really grateful that I can take away a few friends from this experience. I wasn't expecting to make any when I signed up.

Feel free to contact me if you need some help. I'll be visiting the forum somewhat, and my AIM is PorygonZee.

Goodbye, Bulbapedia.
