Mohn's Zoroark (Japanese: モーンのゾロアーク Mohn's Zoroark) is Mohn's only known Pokémon. It first appeared in a flashback in The Secret Princess!.

Prior to the start of the Sun & Moon series, Mohn used Zoroark to battle in the grand trial against Hala's Hariyama, as depicted in a flashback in The Secret Princess!. When Mohn disappeared into an Ultra Wormhole, it ran away.

In Chasing Memories, Creating Dreams!, Gladion went searching for Zoroark on Melemele Island for help in finding Mohn. Unbeknownst to him, Zoroark was discreetly following him, changing into different Pokémon with its Illusion Ability along the way to keep itself hidden. At night, when Gladion and Umbreon came across what appeared to be a Lurantis, Gladion order Umbreon to attack the Pokémon, causing Zoroark to revert back to normal. Gladion urged it to come with him and help him find his father, which it accepted, joining his team.

In SM138, Zoroark was the second Pokémon Gladion sent out in his battle against Ash in the Manalo Conference finals, facing Ash's Pikachu. Using its Illusion Ability to disguise itself as Lycanroc, Zoroark surprised Pikachu with a Night Daze attack and followed up by cutting through his Electroweb with Shadow Claw. Though successful, Pikachu managed to get behind Zoroark and hit it with a Thunderbolt, removing the effects of its Ability and revealing its true form. The battle continued into the next episode, where Zoroark pushed Pikachu back with another Shadow Claw. It then unleashed its Z-Move, Never-Ending Nightmare, which was countered by Pikachu's Breakneck Blitz. The two Z-Moves collided, resulting in a double knockout.

Personality and characteristics

Zoroark appears to be very close with Mohn, as it was very upset when it ran away following Mohn's disappearance. In SM127, it was shown to be playful when it followed Gladion along his journey searching for it.

Description: Zoroark strikes a series of synchronized poses with its Trainer to build Z-Power. It then engulfs the surrounding area with an illusionary dark scenery and creates a shadow around itself. Multiple shadowy hands then reach out from the shadow and attack the opponent. When the hands reach the opponent, they explode.
