Error cards are cards in the Pokémon Trading Card Game that have certain details that are incorrect. The errors present on cards can range from minor typographical errors, to mistranslations, incorrect credits, or physical defects caused by the production process. Collectors are known to seek out these cards, due to their rarity and value, as many of the cards have very few physical copies in existence.

In order to simplify cataloguing errors, Bulbapedia categorizes these cards using four main distinctions: print errors, production errors, translation errors, and game inconsistencies.

Print errors

Print errors are cards that have mistakes within their printed text, graphics, and images. These cards include, but are not limited to, miscredited illustrators, spelling and grammatical mistakes, incorrect game mechanics, and typesetting inconsistencies.
