It was reprinted in the Forbidden Light expansion, originating from the Japanese expansion of the same name, in the Team Up expansion, originating from the Japanese Tag Bolt expansion, in the Unified Minds expansion, originating from the Japanese Miracle Twin expansion, as well as in the Cosmic Eclipse expansion, originating from the Japanese Alter Genesis expansion.
Unidentified Fossil was reprinted during the Sword & Shield Series in the Astral Radiance expansion with different artwork by AYUMI ODASHIMA, first released in the Japanese Time Gazer and Space Juggler expansions. This print was reprinted in the Silver Tempest expansion, first released in the Japanese Paradigm Trigger expansion.
This card operates much in the same way as Mysterious Fossil, first released in the Fossil expansion, in that it can evolve into several different Fossil Pokémon.
