July 1, 2022 saw the release of the Trainer's Toolkit, the third being released for the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the Sword & Shield Series. Like its predecessors, this product came with numerous staple cards for deck building.

Each box included two copies each of useful Item, Supporter, and Special Energy cards from across the Sword & Shield Series, as well as two copies of an alternate-art Lumineon V promotional card that, at the time of the toolkit's launch, had yet to be released in Japan. The toolkit also came with more than 100 basic Energy cards, four Sword & Shield Series booster packs, 65 card sleeves, six damage-counter dice, a coin-flip die, two Special Condition markers, a VSTAR marker, a rulebook, a Deck Builder's Guide, and a Pokémon TCG Live code card.
