Flavor text Generation V Powers up physical attacks when poisoned. Generation VI Powers up physical attacks when the Pokémon is poisoned. Generation VII Powers up physical attacks when the Pokémon is poisoned. Generation VIII Powers up physical attacks when the Pokémon is poisoned. Generation IX Powers up physical moves when the Pokémon is poisoned.

Toxic Boost (Japanese: どくぼうそう Poison Rampage) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. It is the signature Ability of Zangoose.

Effect

In battle

While the Pokémon with this Ability is poisoned, the power of its physical moves is increased by 50%.

Outside of battle

Toxic Boost has no effect outside of battle.
