This puck was awarded as a prize to those who presented a Memory Key with a saved Champion Certification badge to Pokémon booth attendants at the 29th Next Generation World Hobby Fair during winter 2009. In order to earn a Champion Certification badge, it was necessary to play Champion Mode and beat the Battrio champion in two consecutive battles. The World Hobby Fair took place at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Osaka on January 13, 2009; at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on January 19 and 20, 2009; at the Nagoya Dome, Nagoya on January 27, 2009; and at the Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome, Fukuoka on February 3, 2009.
