It was first screened at the Next Generation World Hobby Fair '13 Winter, which was held at the Nagoya Dome in Nagoya, Japan on January 20, 2013, Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan from January 26 to 27, 2013, the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome in Fukuoka, Japan on February 3, 2013, and at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on February 10, 2013.[1][2][3][4] It was subsequently posted on the official Japanese YouTube channel to promote the Megalo Cannon TCG expansion on February 15, 2013, and was made available on the Nintendo Video service in Japan alongside the March 7 trailer for the movie from March 13 to April 23, 2013.[5] A Korean dub was released on the official Korean YouTube channel on May 8, 2013.

Plot

The short details "Project G", Team Plasma's plan to revive and modify Genesect. It introduces the four Drives that Genesect can use, Genesect's 通常形態 normal configuration, 高速飛行形態 high-speed flight configuration, and a Red Genesect who can use Extreme Speed.
