Wondering...

I was flipping through the top contributors of the month page and saw my name listed a couple times back in 2007/8. Never really noticed this until now, but I was wondering if it'd be fine to add this tag to my page, even though I only ever do small edits now... and hell that was a long time ago when I actually did make it on the list. →Tinā ^♫★ 19:57, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

I think it's a bad idea. I think it'll just encourage more users to make lots of useless edits just to get into the top contributors and get to be in the category. It's bad enough already, that'll just make it worse. --ZestyCactus 05:07, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

I don't like the idea. I don't really want to be known in a category as a TCM. Reason being is that there are many other ways to find out, such as the template's transclusion and this list.
