Template talk:User Template

What exactly is the purpose of this template? --PAK Man Talk 16:13, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

It appears to be a way of making custom tags without actually making a separate template for each tag. --DarkfireTaimatsu 19:51, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

How exactly do you make one of these? --Sivart345 19:18, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Guide now on the template page. —darklordtrom 21:20, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

When I put the example on my page, it comes up with this
color}}; background: #{{Arceus color}}; border-radius: 60px; -moz-border-radius: 60px; -webkit-border-radius: 60px; -khtml-border-radius: 60px; -icab-border-radius: 60px; -o-border-radius: 60px;" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"
style="background: #{{Normal
color}};  border-radius: 60px; -moz-border-radius: 60px; -webkit-border-radius: 60px; -khtml-border-radius: 60px; -icab-border-radius: 60px; -o-border-radius: 60px;" | [[Image:493.png
60px]] style="color: #{{Dark
color}}" | This user worships
[[Arceus (Pokémon)

How do you explain that?!Mesuxelf 20:54, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

Make sure it doesn't have any spaces. It should be like this: {{User Template|This user worships|Arceus (Pokémon)|Arceus.|493.png|Dark|Arceus|Normal|Dark}} Jellotalk 21:13, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

How do you make a template on your userpage talk page saying that your favorite Pokemon is Roserade? I tried using this to put said template on, and I failed. Help, please? CrazyMagmar (talk) 01:50, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Try using this:
{{User Favourite|407|Roserade}}
407.png This user's favorite Pokémon is Roserade.

Can we use Hexcode of the colors rather than color templates ? PikaTepig999 (talk) 10:14, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

Not with this template, because it's coded to work with bulbapedia color templates. You can copy the source code out directly and paste it onto your userpage, that would allow you to use hex codes. ~たかはりい 10:33, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

So can {{User Template2}} be used ? PikaTepig999 (talk) 09:00, 31 October 2013 (UTC)

How do I do this?

How do I make unlinked text come after the linked text? sumwun (talk) 07:38, 6 March 2016 (UTC)

With this template, you can't. You will need to use custom code on your user page instead of a template to accomplish such. You can view the code of this template to give you a basis to work off of. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 10:31, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
