Okay
I created this template, but now, I don't think it's needed. If we edit game
so that it can have alternate text after the link, we can phase out this template (like we're doing with p2
and m2
). The coding of game
should be like this:
}}}|{{{3|Pokémon {}}}}
Who agrees with me? Chocolate (Chat with Me) 16:12, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- Does seem as though it'd work better...however, an issue I can see is that you have to have clause 2 in for clause 3 to work. Cipher (Talk) 16:18, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- Huh? I don't get what you mean by the clause part. Chocolate (Chat with Me) 16:19, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- (By "clause 2", I mean {} - same applies for clause 3 and {}.)
- Hang on, ignore me. Just tested this and it works fine. However, if you want to use {} but you don't want to use {}, you'll have to use a double-pipe. Example:
- Crystal
- This'll come up with Gold and Silver counterpart. Using only a single pipe would give you Pokémon Crystal.
- So, yeah, works fine. Wait for some other comments before implementing it, though. Cipher (Talk) 16:31, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- I'm gonna try phasing this out, now that
game
has alt-text capability. But, as Cipher mentioned, typing inEmerald
with this template would require an additional vertical pipe in the other one:Emerald
. As such, I want to get a group opinion on this change before going ahead with it. --((Marton imos)) 03:27, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
