Template:MSP/HOME/doc
< Template:MSP | HOME
This template displays a menu sprite for a Pokémon, and clicking that sprite will go to the Pokémon's species page.
The menu sprite grabbed will be from Pokémon HOME, specifically a 3D render, as opposed to a 2D black-bordered sprite.
- For 2D black-bordered sprites, see Template:MSP/H.
Template fields
- field 1 (natdex number) - The Pokémon's National Pokédex number. This should be in a 4-digit format.
- field 2 (Pokémon name) - The name of the Pokémon, to allow linking to its species page.
- field 3 (hover text disambiguator) (optional) - Text to be displayed when hovering over the image. For example: inputting "M02" on a sprite of Articuno will make the hover text say "Articuno (M02)". However, the link will still go to Articuno's species page.
- form (optional) - A short signifier for the Pokémon's form, so the correct image is displayed.
- This is generally the first letter (or first few letters) of the form's name or type. For example: P for Meloetta Pirouette Form, or G for Wormadam Sandy Cloak (which is Ground-type).
- For shininess, use
_s
. For female, use_f
. - If unsure, check this archive category for all valid file names: Category:HOME artwork. File names are usually in the format
HOME(natdex)(form).png
.
- size - The display size of the menu sprite. Defaults to 48px.
