Appearance

Taunie is a young female with fair skin, royal blue eyes, bisque hair, and a standard build. She wears white shorts with a platinum gray belt along with a crimson sleeveless shirt under a beige jacket with navy blue buttons and top collar. Her footwear features navy blue heavy-duty high-top sneakers with pink laces.

History

Background

Taunie's jacket is a memento from her late mother, who was once a part of Team Flare. She came to Lumiose City searching for her grandmother, and at some point Emma helped her out while she was down on her luck. Taunie met AZ who allowed her to stay at Hotel Z in exchange for working there.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Taunie meets the player right after they arrive on Lumiose at Gare de Lumiose.

Trivia

  • Taunie has the same hairstyle as Harmony, the female player character in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
    • The same is also true for her male counterpart, Urbain, who has the same hairstyle as Paxton.
  • Taunie and Urbain are the first friend/rival characters in the core series:
  • Taunie, Urbain, Korrina, and Emma are the only non-player characters in the core series to have used multiple Mega-Evolved Pokémon in a single battle.
  • Taunie and Urbain, as well as Korrina, are the only non-player characters that have a level 100 Pokémon outside of Hyperspace Lumiose.
    • Furthermore, Taunie and Urbain are the only ones that have a full party composed solely of level 100 Pokémon. As such, they have the highest leveled Pokémon team in the core series games (excluding Trainers battled in Hyperspace Lumiose).
