Locations

Should this be the page to put the locations of the Zygarde Cells, or should it be somewhere else? RecoverShield (talk) 01:08, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

It's mostly "go to just about every location". A "dumb" list wouldn't be a lot of use IMO. On the other hand, I guess if someone went to the trouble to create a list where each location says (in separate columns) how many cells there are at any time, only in the day, or only in the night, that could be a bit useful to people looking. There's a lot more to it than just "Go to every location"; they aren't actually in every location, just most, and they are in specific places in each location. We should list every cell location in one place, and this page is the best one for it. --SnorlaxMonster 06:10, 15 July 2017 (UTC)

Cube

Besides being called a "Cube", the item is actually a Turncated octahedron, should this be on a Trivia? - unsigned comment from Boog1000 (talkcontribs)

Trivia: Core Locations

Here's a potential trivia section to add to the page:

"Four of the five cores that can be found in Sun and Moon are found in the homes of each island's Kahuna, while the fifth is found in the player's home. While never explicitly stated, given Zygarde's lore as a protector of the ecosystem and the cores' role as the brains of Zygarde, it is possible Zygarde may have been seeking out a powerful trainer to help it."

I'm not sure if this page would be the more appropriate place to put this, or if it would be a better fit for the main Zygarde page. I think this page is a better fit, since it's specific to Sun and Moon, but I'll leave that to someone else to ultimately decide. Also, that last bit, about seeking a trainer, is speculation, so I'm not sure if it's appropriate or not. However, it does explain why Zygarde being found in those five locations is interesting; the sentient parts have specifically gone to the locations of four of Alola's most powerful trainers, plus the future champion. It also seems congruous with the little backstory that is present on Zygarde within the game: that it has migrated to Alola from Kalos for unknown reasons, but it may be trying to prevent a disaster. (I'm working from memory here, however, so I could be remembering the gist of what Sina and Dexio said wrong.) I did try to phrase it so as to not misconstrue it as a fact, but feel free to reword or remove it. Either way, that the cores are found in such important—although not obviously so—locations seems to warrant mention as Trivia. Zanmorn (talk) 14:45, 14 July 2017 (UTC)

This is nothing but speculation, which we avoid as a rule. And the pattern for where the cores are located is pretty obvious. Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:58, 14 July 2017 (UTC)

Zygarde Cell locations

Now that this item appears in both USUM and SwSh, having this page cover Zygarde Cell locations in SM is beginning to become impractical, and is only going to get worse over time. I think they need to be split to a separate page—perhaps Zygarde Cell, but I'm open to other suggestions for how to split this page. --SnorlaxMonster 12:27, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
