Krabby

I think one thing should be made clear: did Ash's Krabby use ViceGrip for the first time in EP013 or EP075? --FinnishPokéFan92 16:45, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

The picture with Krabby is from EP013, so obviously Mystery at the Lighthouse is when Ash's Krabby first used Vicegrip. :D Littlmiget123 17:04, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Yes, but is that just pinching or the actual move? Is it any similiar to the move that is used on Mandi's Exeggutor? --FinnishPokéFan92 18:18, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
The Japanese name for Vicegrip is Clamp. Clamp means to hold onto something and not let go. Ash's Krabby grabbed onto his finger and didn't let go no matter how loud he protested. That would be vicegrip. Littlmiget123 18:41, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Are we sure it was ViceGrip? I was under the impression we assumed nothing. Hence we never put Surf under Ash's Lapras, despite it spending 95% of its screentime ferrying Ash and co. across the sea. Krabby wasn't commanded to use ViceGrip until EP075, and nobody identified it pinching Ash as ViceGrip in EP013. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 18:44, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

OK, seriously, that wasn't ViceGrip!

Why does everybody keep thinking Ash's Krabby used ViceGrip in Mystery at the lighthouse? I thought we assummed nothing, which is why we didn't list Ash's Lapras as knowing Surf despite it spending 95% of its screentime ferrying the twerps across the sea. ViceGrip wasn't ordered or identified until the Pokemon league. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 18:27, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

Pinsir

Shouldn't Pinsir doing the exact motion in EP004 that it does when it uses ViceGrip in AG176 count as the move's debut? - unsigned comment from Starballerqtpants (talkcontribs)

The move must be identified as ViceGrip. Since Samurai didn't say the move, it isn't ViceGrip.--ForceFire 07:35, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
