How can she be a cotd AND a rival? CuboneKing 21:24, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Taken care of. —darklordtrom 10:40, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Umm why does that have to matter? The point is she competed against Dawn. That doesn't make her a rival? A.J. can be considered a rival to Ash. Maybe you should look up the definition of "rival". --ケンジガール 06:26, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
We were going off the definition of rival as defined in the Pokémon fanbase. Writing it as coordinators makes much more sense. Thanks. —darklordtrom 07:44, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

New pokemon

When is Ursula's new pokemon going to be added? She is going to appear with a Jigglypuff, Plusle and Minun. - unsigned comment from Chomi (talkcontribs)

When the episode airs, just like it has always been done. --HoennMaster 23:19, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

And also, what about her new Flareon which was shown in the preview clip. x Eevee obsessed 008

The same answer... - unsigned comment from Kenji-girl (talkcontribs)
Note, she will have a Vaporeon as well. Also an Eevee according to DP 174 preview. [[[User:Chomi|Chomi]] 17:12, 22 April 2010 (UTC)]

can it not be added that her jigglypuff has green eyes like marina's instead of blue eyes like a normal jigglypuff does.

All of them have green eyes since the debut of Marina's. So no. --ケンジガール 17:49, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Requesting a new Page for Ursula's Gabite or possibly Plusle & Minun

Seriously...... Ursula is a main Rival now and that seldom appearing Nando got his Roselia a page all for itself and we don't even consider him a Rival!

Seeing how Ursula's Gabite got the most development:

1) Causing Pachirisu to learn Super Fang.

2) Being used against Dawn in the Chocovine Contest, losing to Pachirisu by time limit.

3) Being used in the recent contest in a Double Performance.

4) It also knows a variety of moves(If this matters)

So yeah, a rival should at least get 1 Pokemon with their own page, right? User:BAC510 05:40 January 31, 2010 (UTC)

Selection of images on this article

The main image on this article has been changed to one agreed upon by TTE and a couple others earlier this morning, but this brings up an issue: every picture of Ursula on this page has her in her contest outfit. There are none of her casual clothes.

I have uploaded an image of her casual clothes, but I'm personally not too keen on inserting in in place of the existing image of her contest outfit, since it gives a better view of it than the main image. The article is small enough that adding another image would make it look cramped (it looks horrible enough on smaller resolutions), though, so... any thoughts? :/ 梅子 21:51, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

I always take pan shots over head shots. I don't see any use for the one in the infobox. I'd like to see the contest outfit on the left in the info box and have this one where the contest one is. That's my opinion. --ケンジガール 22:18, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I agree. But keep the headshot... TTEchidna 00:16, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
...So move the contest outfit one to the infobox, and put the headshot... somewhere else? I'M CONFUSED.
Oh right, I had been thinking that maybe a switch could be put in to change the one picture between contest and casual clothes, but idk :/ - unsigned comment from Umeko (talkcontribs)
Leave the headshot as-is in the infobox, and bring her casual outfit into where the contest outfit is. TTEchidna 05:42, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Like that? 梅子 05:51, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Yep. Exactly. TTEchidna 07:28, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Harley of Sinnoh

This belongs in the trivia section and needs to be rewritten as "Some viewers have observed her as the Harley of Sinnoh."--Muk-a-matic-Maketh the Muk go round... 18:21, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Ursula's Gabite page?

Considering she's already made two appearances and will also be making an appearance during the Grand Festival, does anyone else agree Ursula's Gabite deserves its own page (if Nando's Roselia gets a page dspite having only made a couple of appearances, I don't see why Gabite shouldn't)?

Yeah, it should get one. But wait until after it appears in the GF. J-J-M 15:39, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Now it's appeared (and had a fairly significant appearance in the last episode) is it ok to create a page for Ursula's Gabite. Watchermark 16:14, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
That page is protected though, so you got to wait until an admin unprotects it. J-J-M 23:24, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
I made a page for her in my userspace. We could use that to make the page when/if it becomes unprotected. ----Zewis (29) 21:19, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

We keep talking about it and keep making articles in our userspace but is one ever going to main space!? Lanturn....05308 12:36, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

There is a trivia about similarities between Ursula and Teto Kasane. It may be only me, but I always had this comparison between Ursula and Amy Sorel, from the Soul Calibur series.--KurowaSan 12:09, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Leaving lake valor?

She did not leave the grand festival in DP175, she was still there watching Dawn and Zoey's battle in DP177 Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 16:54, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Ursula's Plusle and Minun

Should we create a page for Ursula's Plusle and Minun? It had a major apperance and a few other appearances. I know some of them were minor but they are one of her main Pokémon. サトシ 23:37, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

I think the fac they were shown in the crdeits of M13 rather than Gabite is a big reason why they should be considered, I am for this page Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 00:13, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
I don't know about this one. All it did was battle and make cameos. You should wait to see what Kenji-girl says, but according to the Bulbapedia:Anime Pokémon Notability policy these Pokémon are not notable for a page. Also I believe there's a restriction on creating new Pokémon articles in the userspace anyway. --Pokemaster97 01:56, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
"If a rival's signature Pokémon does nothing more than battle or has no major impact on the plot, then it is not notable for an article and instead should have a section on its Trainer's page." (from the policy) This is what makes me sorta reluctant on making the page, they made barely any impact tbh. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 02:36, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
The problem in my view is that possibly never see Ursula as main rival, and admit that considering Drew's Pokemon (especially Masquerain) and Paul's Weaville and Gliscor and no longer have your pages and they had much more emphasis on the series would be through unfair.--Hikaru Wazana 02:36 - 4 January 2012 (UTC)
First of all, I know some appearances were minor, I acknowledged that. I am going to create it in my userspace and see what Kenji thinks. It's the least I can do, you never know. If Gabite has an article, than why not Plusle and Minum? サトシ 02:57, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
Because they did far less than what Gabite did? Ataro 03:32, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

Is Ursula considered to be a rookie coordinator? She keeps on not caring about her own mistakes which lead to her losses. However, she isn't much of an antagonist as she didn't try to do anything evil related. PattyMan 20:23, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

I don't think so. She already won three ribbons when she was introduced, the same number Dawn had at the time, and moved on to compete in the Grand Festival not too long afterwards. Not to mention she put up a pretty tough fight each time she faced off against Dawn. Besides, lots of Trainers and Coordinators make similar mistakes, no matter how many battles they've fought or badges/ribbons they've won. GamerGeek 22:46, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Ursula's attitude toward Dawn depicted that she was less experienced than her regardless of ribbons. Trip was more inexperienced than Ash and yet, he was able to get things ahead of Ash. PattyMan 23:28, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
I don't think we should be labeling anyone anything unless directly stated. She could just be a coordinator with a bad attitude and bad luck in terms of onscreen appearances. People who are good can make bad choices at times. --ケンジガール 23:47, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Trip wasn't any more inexperienced than Ash was when he started his journey. His attitude back then heavily implied that he already knew a lot more about Pokémon than most rookie Trainers would, and he even defeated Ash in their first two battles. Likewise, Ursula appeared to have at least some experience with Contests, as she already had three ribbons, and she even had her own special Poffin recipe. And I don't see how her attitude towards Dawn points out to her being inexperienced at all. GamerGeek 00:08, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
Professor Juniper mentioned that Trip was a beginning Trainer back in the first episode of BW. He probably used that attitude to make Ash look like a beginner. Nobody mentioned Ursula being a rookie which was why I was curious about her behavior. I don't find rival battles to be accurate in terms of who is better since it was mostly the writers making them win. PattyMan 00:23, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
True, but you must remember that when Trip was introduced, he was actually just starting out on a new journey. Ursula wasn't; again, she already had three ribbons, and again, lots of Trainers and Coordinators have similar qualities, regardless of how much time and experience they've had since the start of their journeys. Does that make them rookies? GamerGeek 01:40, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
