If the TM no longer exists in generation V and Skarmory is still the only one who can learn it by Level Up, doesn't that make Steel Wing it's signature move now? Shiramu Kuromu 01:00, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Well, a bunch of Pokémon learn it via breeding, and Pokémon that learned it via TM in Gen IV can be imported to Generation V, so I wouldn't think so. Wilde32 10:34, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

A good deal of the pokemon in the table can get steel wing from various pokemon in 4, how many should we list? Truthseeker4449 22:09, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Only the ones that don't learn it by TM. TM moves are passed on. Werdnae (talk) 22:28, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Incorrect Trivia

The trivia says that the move is unavailable in Generation V, but Skarmory can still learn it at level 34. ----Zewis (29) 10:37, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

And is available in the Dream World at level 10, meaning your correct, removed now. --Spriteit 10:50, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
I was going to just reword it, but thinking about it now, it's one of those obvious trivias that you can tell just by looking at the page. So yeah, it doesn't need to be there after all. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 10:56, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

Signature Move.

Now that Steel Wing isn't a TM anymore it must be Skarmory's signature move. Dispate other Pokémon can learn it through breeding it is still a signature move. Some other signature moves are also breedable, and yes many can actually learn it by TM in gen 4 but if that's the reason it's not a signature move it would mean that a Pokémon could never recover a signature move. Also, in the Signature move page, Skarmory's signature move is Steel Wing in Gen V. It should be denoted in this page too.
