Korean name for Shalour City

Its Korean name is 사라시티 Sara Siti.

  • This is a wild stab in the dark, but the two Chinese characters that would be both 사라 in Korean and しゃら/シャラ in Japanese are 沙羅, which in turn makes up a part of 沙羅雙樹 (사라쌍수 in Korean, シャラソウジュ in Japanese [IIRC])... which is the Shorea robusta or "shala tree".
  • I thus presume the English name is based on the shala tree as well, but maybe it's mixed with... uh... "glamour" or some such. -- Nick15 (talk) 17:46, 9 August 2013 (UTC)

French name

As a french guy myself, from Brittany (france's little arm, also there in Kalos), I can guarantee you that the name Yantreizh is also meant to sound like a Breton name. For instance, Brittany in Breton is called Breizh. --Unbirth (talk) 23:08, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

I agree with you, because of this file. The page for Kalos even confirms that spot in the equivalent of Brittany is Shalour City. TheOriginalOne 23:20, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

Cant you work out her type?

Korrina is obviously fighting type because of the blotch of colour behind her artwork being browny red. Ziggyangelo88 (talk) 06:00, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

That is speculation and does not belong anywhere on Bulbapedia. It'll be added when it's officially confirmed and not a minute sooner. (Even putting that aside, your logic is extremely tenuous at best. Brown can signify any number of types.) Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 06:01, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

I said that her colour on the official pokemon website is browny red. the other browns are browny green: bug, light brown: ground and dark brown: rock browny red has to be fighting. Ziggyangelo88 (talk) 08:20, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

It'd be best to just wait until an official source explicitly states she's the fighting type Gym Leader. --Pokemaster97 13:47, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

Why isnt there a page on the Tower of Mastery?

Surely that big tower in the center of the picture of Shalour city is the tower of mastery. Even so, couldn't you make a page for it without a picture? Ziggyangelo88 (talk) 08:25, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

Or it could be the gym. Or it could be the department store. It could be anything. We do not add things based on "it has to be X", we wait until it's been confirmed.--ForceFire 08:36, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
It is the Tower of Mastery. The official site says so. The only reason it doesn't have a page is that nobody has gotten around to it yet. --SnorlaxMonster 08:56, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

Possible Mother reference

I realize that Harmoknight fits the reference made by the guy in Shalour City Pokemon Center but that might also apply to Mother 3. As many fans know of the connections between EVE from Mother 1 to Deoxys and Giygas/Giegue from Mother 1 & 2 to Mewtwo, in Mother 3 when you make an attack you can press A to the beat of the music to do additional attacks. Given the connections between Pokemon and Mother I think this warrants an edit to the article.Theomniadept (talk) 22:59, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
