Talk:Serena's Braixen

Psyshock

Hi guys, I think it would be ok to reveal this move as there is no other choice. The move was a Grayish color and as we saw from Delphox, Will O Wisp is a blueish purple color. The only other orb like move Fennekin can learn is Hidden Power but that is green in color.RBK (talk) 00:40, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

I agree with the above. Will-O-Wisp was much more like a flame attack, whereas this one was just an energy orb. Would it be OK to reveal it? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 06:42, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

If you mean the move in XY Used to escape from Team Rockets cage. It could be Psyshock, or Hidden Power, Because despite Hidden Power normally being green, the move may have have had a reanimation in XY (Like Iron Tail, Quick Attack EG)Waterninja12345 (talk) 17:26, 31 March 2014 (UTC)

Hidden Power was used by a Wild Vespiquen way back, and it was totally of a different color--Omojuzeforever (talk) 19:29, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
You make a good point. I forgot that, in XY004 if I remember correctly. I 100% sure I know what move you mean, and I do have a picture of it, But I'm unsure how, and if I can upload it Waterninja12345 (talk) 19:56, 1 April 2014 (UTC)

Oh ya, we have seen Hidden Power in XY and it looked nothing like the move we saw Fenniken use. That really only leaves Psyshock.RBK (talk) 22:37, 1 April 2014 (UTC)

I heard stuff that it may just be a more powerful Ember. I find this is unlikely, But seeing their simulations it may be possible it may be true. It's not the first instance a move changed colour. Ash's Chimchar's Flamethrower changed Pink/Purple in Ash's 5th Sinnoh gym battle Waterninja12345 (talk) 15:37, 2 April 2014 (UTC)

Fokko gender.

Since the episode XY021 has been aired, and it is likely that Fokko is female in the anime. Such as wearing skirts, pink ribbons and the diva personality.- unsigned comment from Zhixun (talkcontribs)

Yes, it is likely, but not confirmed.--Den Zen 11:03, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

Yes, we can also not confirmed it on the evident you got, cause remember, back in the DP Series, Dawn's Piplup would wear a female cheer leading outfit, despite being confirmed MALE later on. Waterninja12345 (talk) 11:16, 6 April 2014 (UTC)

Gender

I'm just wondering when Serena's Fennekin was confirmed Female? Thanks - Waterninja12345 (talk) 12:46, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

In XY021, Serena referred herself and Fennekin as girls after the baking scene.--Den Zen 12:52, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
Out of curiosity, what was the word(s) Serena used? - Chosen of Mana 18:05, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
If I remember correctly from the top of my head, it was something like: "After all, girls should take care of themselves". It was used in a context referring both to Serena herself and Fennekin. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 18:07, 22 April 2014 (UTC)

Yet again, Gender:

Ok, I'm gonna clear this up quickly. In the Japanese Version, Serena said Fennekin was female, but I watched the dubbed version to the episode, and she never said that, so should we maybe note the fact that it was only confirmed in the Japanese/Raw till it is comfirmed in the dub too? Waterninja12345 (talk) 15:54, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Original Japanese version overrules all, so it's not required. --HoennMaster 18:39, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Fennekin's Nature

Since Fennekin is shown to like spicy Poké Puffs, does that mean that her nature could be either Lonely, Brave, Adamant or Naughty? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 19:54, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

That still four to guess from. And Nature is not used too often; it's used mostly for manga Pokémon. I swear the only anime Pokémon that has specified Nature is Fennel's Munna, and then only because of Dream World demo thing.Eridanus (talk) 20:05, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

I think Fennekin will evolve soon

The movie poster for the upcoming movie features the casts' Pokémon and shows a Braixen instead of a Fennekin. I think that's saying that Serena's Fennekin will evolve. Should this page be protected until then? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 19:03, 15 December 2014 (UTC)

I saw a Braixen in the poster and in the calendar, so as of the poster and in the next mini movie, Serena's Fennekin has evolved into Braixen, so you may need the template of: "This article has been protected due to evidence that the subject of this article may evolve in a future episode. It will be unprotected when the episode airs." since she is going to evolve, Are you planning to have the page protected? --Liamisgreat (talk) 14:35, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

I know, but the template should be added by an admin. Leave it there. Raymond 03:48, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

The admins already decided that the pages will not be protected when we have no idea on when it will happen. It's pointless to have an article protected for up to seven months on such little evidence. --HoennMaster 05:13, 17 January 2015 (UTC)
Given we have the poster suggesting it's evolving rather soon, the new episode title reveal, "Fokko VS Mahoxy! A Gorgeous Performance Battle!!" seems to give a good chance it's going to evolve in XY064. Might be time to add the evolution protection to the page. Myzou (talk) 09:15, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
I might add a guess that in that episode(XY064), a Braixen is set to appear, so it must be that Fennekin would evolve during that episode while battling/competing against a Delphox. -- Upratik 12 (talk) 16:07, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

Why is the page protected?

I just wanted to make a minor edit is all... --DragonSlayingFairy (tAlk) 01:01, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

News about its evolution have been going around which is why the page is protected, but the protection is only for new users. PattyMan 01:10, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
Ah, I see (I was aware of the evolution talk above me, just didn't think it would be protected only for new users). Any idea when I'm going to be able to edit it? Tomorrow? Few days or such? -- --DragonSlayingFairy (tAlk) 01:23, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
Once you become autoconfirmed, you can edit the page. PattyMan 01:43, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
The page has been protected so that only admins can edit it, however. - Chosen of Mana 21:05, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

Fennekin's / Braixen's Ability

Can an admin add to the page that Fennekin's/Braixen's ability, in the games, is Blaze? MatrVincent (talk) 16:02, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

We don' add it until it's 100% proven. Random Chaos (talk) 01:24, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
What I mean is that Serena's Fennekin is being distributed to Japanese players, and the Fennekin has the ability Blaze. Shouldn't we add that with an asterix in the 'Ability' section? MatrVincent (talk) 15:14, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
Ahh, maybe not my call by a long shot. Random Chaos (talk) 20:06, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
Done. --Mikuri 21:53, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
While we're at it, the event itself should be included in the article. - Chosen of Mana 23:26, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

Braixen's Dub Voice Actor

So Braixen was not voiced as Eileen Stevens? I coulda sworn it was her. Now I'm puzzled.--Jay 21 (Talk) 17:26, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

It has not yet been confirmed, so it is not on the page. --Abcboy (talk) 17:46, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Picture

The picture of Braixen looks smooshed and unprofessional. I think we should revert it to the original pic. Leafeon6954 (talk) 03:23, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
