Pokedex entry

Confusing Wording

Saying that they were introduced in Gen VII may be confusing to some people. While technically correct, it makes it seem like they're Gen VII Pokémon when they're actually Gen VIII Pokémon. This should be changed to prevent confusion. — Arqade (talk) 00:12, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

Albino rabbit

Scorbunny could possibly be based on an albino rabbit because it also has white fur and though it has orange eyes, they have a red tinge as do the pink eyes of albino rabbits.Robbie (talk) 20:23, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

I disagree that Scorbunny is specifically based on an albino rabbit. Rabbits can have white fur and "ruby" colored eyes without being albino. Plus, rabbits are commonly thought of as having white fur and red eyes because they are bred for that trait as pets, even though they can be of a variety of colors in the wild. I doubt that Game Freak was specifically thinking of albino rabbits when they were designing this Pokémon, even if they look more like an albino rabbit than anything else. We can't say that Scorbunny is based on anything other than a rabbit. GM_3826 (talk) 18:28, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

National Pokédex number

Because every new Pokémon for Sword & Shield will be numbered after Melmetal, that means that Scorbunny's NatDex number is #813.

Soccer Player

Due to it's white coloration, it's bipedalism, it's body positions in game teasers, kicking, and what resembles a bandage on it's face, it appears to have elements of soccer players.Robbie (talk) 17:03, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

Since when do you have to decide what a pokemon's based on. If you look at all the artwork and game footage Scorbunny is in, you can see it is similar to a soccer player just like anyone can see Popplio is a circus clown sea lion.Robbie (talk) 19:00, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
