In the scene of XY012 where Daz gets roped by Officer Jenny, Vivillon releases some type of purple-colored powder at Daz. Was that the move Powder or Sleep Powder? PattyMan 01:49, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

Well, the powder put Daz to sleep, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and call it Sleep Powder. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 16:23, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
Either way, we should wait for a Japanese speaker to confirm (or, if that's not possible, wait for the episode to be dubbed) before we add it to either page. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 16:47, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

HP Fire and Natural Gift

Something to research: does a Fire-type Hidden Power or Natural Gift activate Powder's effect? Soulweaver (talk · edits) 17:57, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

Natural Gift, yes. Glik (talk) 18:57, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

Usable in Generation VIII?

Can anyone confirm whether or not Powder can be used in SwSh? It's one of those moves that have neither the "can't be used" description, but also didn't appear to be implemented pre-IoA. TehPerson (talk) 16:46, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

That means it exists in SwSh but can't be learned by any Pokemon. That's why you can only get it legally from calling other moves by e.g. Metronome or permanently on traded Smeargle.--Rocket Grunt (Report To Me) 17:16, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

Displayed accuracy

If Powder bypasses accuracy checks, then shouldn't it have a dash (—) in the accuracy field of the infobox instead of 100%? -spudwalt (talk) 23:25, 3 August 2020 (UTC)

Well, yes, it should.. but it doesn't actually bypass accuracy checks. (At least I got a few misses in XY, which were the only games Powder was available at the time the info was added here.) I've changed the article accordingly. Thanks for catching that. Nescientist (talk) 15:56, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
