Logos

I'm not autoconfirmed yet, so I can't upload them myself, but individual logos are available on Nintendo's website. We might want to use them as the infobox images to avoid redlinks. Nyargleblargle (talk) 15:11, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

Infobox Colors

I think the Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon colors should be different from the Sun and Moon colors, as Ultra Sun is more red-orangish and Ultra Moon is more of a purple, at least in official media Superjustinbros. (talk) 16:03, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

These colors are just temporary. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 16:04, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
The logo colors look identical to me. Nyargleblargle (talk) 16:05, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
How do I make color templates for them? It won't let me.--Hamfart
You don't. The admins will at some point. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 20:56, 7 June 2017 (UTC)

New Pokémon

Nintendo of Italy confirmed me that there won't be "new Pokémon", but "alternative Pokémon forms not seen before". In the communicate they received from TPCi this is written and that the text in the Direct were mistakenly translitterated. I believe the phrase in the text should be corrected..--Franky7 (talk) 19:13, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

The only claim in the article about which Pokémon will appear is "The games will feature Pokémon that did not appear in Pokémon Sun and Moon", which is taken directly from what the Direct said. While it's clear that new forms are being introduced (from the Solgaleo/Necrozma and Lunala/Necrozma fusions), there hasn't been any mention of "new Pokémon" from what I've seen. What phrase should be corrected?

I think it's clear that whoever wrote for the Direct intentionally made the "did not appear in Sun and Moon" clause as vague as possible, so that it can cover the possibilities of new Pokemon, new forms, or even just old Pokemon that weren't in the Alola Dex. Yes, I referred to that phrase. I didn't mean that it says clearly there will be new Pokémon, I only suggested to changed it to specify that there will be new forms (this way, maybe: ""The games will feature new Pokémon forms that did not appear in Pokémon Sun and Moon""). And, yes Pumpkinking, maybe it was, but it sounds strangely that Nintendo itself received another note different from the one in the video, but everything can be.--Franky7 (talk) 19:58, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

Box mascots

In the article they are labeled "Pokémon resembling Solgaleo" and "Pokémon resembling Lunala".

I think it would be a good idea to change those to "Pokémon resembling Solgaleo and Necrozma" and "Pokémon resembling Lunala and Necrozma". Rebmcr (talk) 19:30, 16 June 2017 (UTC)

I agree; I actually came here to say this. It's not like that's any less confirmed or anything. Flarn2006 (talk) 15:30, 25 June 2017 (UTC)

(Tiny bit of) new info from June 15 CoroCoro

Technically June 15th's CoroCoro did reveal a tiny amount of new info for USUM: Pikachu in a cap gets a seventh form, Ash's hat from M20. Is this worth adding to the article? We even have a screenshot. Blueapple128 (talk) 00:07, 17 June 2017 (UTC)

That's not really information about the game so much as it is about a game exclusive event. Flain (talk) 01:22, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Version Exclusives

Can we edit to include version-exclusive now? It was reveleaded some version exclusive like Manectric and Alolan Vulpix exclusive to US and Houndoom and Alolan Sandshrew exclusive to UM. Pika fanatic (talk) 23:14, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

The page is locked until the games' release as a precautionary measure against vandalism, so you'll have to be patient like everyone else and wait for the staff to get to it. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 23:26, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

Gneraiton VII Final games?

In the interview that Shigeru OhMori did with IGN they said that USUM will be the last core games in 3DS and the making the Generation VIII Games on Switch could you add that USUM will be the last games of Generation VII? Pika fanatic (talk) 23:14, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

Here. [1] -Tyler53841 (talk) 00:51, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
Interesting. Not that I have the authority to make a decision like this, but I don't think it's a good idea to add it. We can't say that they won't make another Gen VII game for Switch without official confirmation. The article only says that USUM will be the last core games for 3DS, not in Gen VII. --Celadonkey 01:27, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
I agree with Celadonkey. Lets wait for them to confirm it as we don't know yet about which Generation the Switch game will be.--Jacob Kogan (talk) 03:02, 20 October 2017 (UTC)

(resetting indent) I see this has been added to Trivia. Is this really the best place for this information? It seems to me that it would belong in the lede, added to the sentence that currently reads "The games will be available for the Nintendo 3DS." Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 05:49, 20 October 2017 (UTC)

New Wild Battle Theme

It is stated in Aesthetic Changes that the trainer battle theme has been remixed in these games. As the wild battle theme was also remixed, shouldn't that be mentioned? Erezushi (talk) 12:06, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

Pokémon that want to play with you

I was reading through the list of changes since Sun/Moon, and I noticed that the playing with Pokémon feature isn't listed. I'm certain this wasn't in Sun/Moon, right? That said, I'm not sure how you'd call this feature. But it seems like it should be added to the list of gameplay changes, unless it wasn't included for a reason?
