Sugimori Art

In the trivia section, it's mentioned that the Nurse's art was shown on the Game Freak website, and that she was later redesigned. Could someone link to these images or something? IIMarckus 15:44, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

These pages are long, long down. Try Web Archive. Maybe you'll find something... --Maxim 15:46, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
I would, but unfortunately I don't know the URL where the images were in the first place. IIMarckus 15:49, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Original official art?

Is this it? Lovely Rose 02:45, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Image link doesn't work... — THE TROM — 01:50, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Someone deleted it..Anyway,this one. Lovely Rose 01:54, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
First link worked for me. Anyway, assumable yes, that is the original art, although I may be wrong. ~~Takoto - サソデイ 01:57, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
It works now because it was reuploaded. If that's not the first artwork, then it's certainly one of the first ones released. — THE TROM — 02:02, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Seconded. It certainly looks like artwork from Gen I and II games... --AT 02:05, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Should it be put in the article, then? Lovely Rose 02:19, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Sure. (of course, it matters more if an admin approves...) --AT 02:25, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Turns out it's a copyvio... D: — THE TROM — 04:02, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Could this possibly be merged with the article on Nurse Joy? Lucadan (Talk) 20:24, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

No, They're seprate people and have never met. --CUBONE (Planet CuboneBone Club) PWNS 20:35, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Nurse Joy is from the anime. Nurse is just the nurse at every Pokémon Center. If that helps you understand. R.A. Hunter Blade 20:39, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Casey and Pinky

What are their Japanese names? Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 14:30, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Casey is メディ (Medi). Not sure about the Chansey. --Maxim 15:44, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Nurse (Trainer class)

Should a new article be created for the Gen V trainer class "Nurse" (as seen in Yaguruma Forest), or should information on the trainer class be implemented into this article? --AndyPKMN 20:12, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Yes. I think so. Perhaps this article should be moved to "Pokémon Center Nurse". The nurses that battle the player and the ones in Pokemon Center aren't the same. This article is about the latter and I see no reason why they should be unified. --Maxim 20:14, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
Okay, but now that this page is at Pokémon Center Nurse, I feel it ought to have a small anime section which summarizes and links to the Nurse Joy article. --AndyPKMN 11:17, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

After a Certain Point?

After a certain point Great to see you, <PLAYER>! You want the usual, right?

When does this occur? Is it after a certain amount of times healed at the same centre, or does it apply to all of them?Lizardtongues (talk) 17:32, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

My best guess is when the player obtains a gold trainer card, since Trainer stars don't appear in BW/B2W2. R.A. Hunter Blade 19:22, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Colosseum/XD Pokérus

Do the nurses say anything about Pokérus in Colosseum or XD? I tried it a while ago and she didn't say anything, but since she only mentions it the first time an infected Pokémon is healed, that may be because I traded an infected Pokémon to the game and healed it a long time ago. To the best of my knowledge, the games never refer to them as nurses and there's enough content to create a separate article, especially considering that the number of quotes will increase as more core games are developed and released. SatoMew 14:04, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

The page is fine as is. Splitting would just mean someone would have to jump to the game-specific page or the "leftovers" page when they didn't land where they wanted to or when they wanted to see the other stuff (even if that should be a disambig page), and there's really not enough of that "leftover" content to justify that. It's really not worth it IMO.
The question of splitting aside, the in-game content would not at all need to put at "operator" (unless, contrary to my every expectation, "operator" is actually used in the games anywhere). We don't need to reinvent the wheel: if it looks like a nurse, walks like a nurse, and quacks like a nurse, we can call it a nurse; if absolutely necessary, we can just put an "unofficial name" tag at the top (which you'd have to do for "operator" anyway, unless (again) I'm wrong) and everything's fine. Beyond that, though, I don't think there's any problem whatsoever with accepting other media that does call them nurses. As far as that goes, I could, at worst, see using the title Pokémon Nurse. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:56, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
"Pokémon Center operator" is just a descriptor like "Pokémon Center nurse". There's a good reason to split the article because of the quotes alone, which are wanted despite being irrelevant and not doing much other than clogging up the article. Also, following your logic, then Nurse Joy doesn't warrant an article of her own either since a lot of the in-depth information is not really necessary and could be summarized for the most part so that it fits in this article without making it too big. Nurse vs. nurse

Grammatically, it's incorrect to capitalize nurse unless it starts a sentence; however, the article's name should remain capitalized because it is a title, so the move is not necessary. That said, if there are any instances in the article where the capitalized "Nurse" is used incorrectly, I'd encourage their change.

If I'm proven wrong about article titles being capitalized, then I'll gladly agree with the move. However, I can't find another case of a non-capitalized title for an article aside from the amiibo article, which is written as it is because the trademark is on the lowercase. Paᗧ•••ck 08:07, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Article and section titles should be written in sentence case, not title case. So we title articles with names such as "List of Abilities in other languages", not "List of Abilities in Other Languages". Note that there are plenty of official terms that would not normally be capitalized in English, but are in Pokémon media (see User:SnorlaxMonster/Pokémon Syntax). --SnorlaxMonster 08:26, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
I see. I was mistaken, then. I fully support moving the page to Pokemon Center nurse. Also, thanks for the info. I'll be sure to keep track of that page for future reference. You've definitely put a lot of work into it. Paᗧ•••ck 10:52, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

I believe the article should be moved to "Pokémon Center Lady". That's how they're referred to in Sun/Moon and on the TCG card. Actually, I doubt that the phrase "Pokémon Center Nurse" was actually ever officially used (it's either "Pokémon Center Lady" or "Pokémon Nurse"). And even if it was, "Lady" is more up-to-date. --Maxim (talk) 19:09, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Support in order to facilitate merging the contents of "Pokémon Center Lady (Trainer class)". - Chosen of Mana 01:46, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
Tbh, I totally forgot about this page when I made the Pokemon Center Lady page. I only noticed a lack of redirects from any references to "Pokemon Center Lady". I think this is unanimous then? TehPerson (talk) 05:05, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
Moves, merges, and other such decisions are ultimately made by the Editorial Board. Tiddlywinks (talk) 05:09, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
But it doesn't react... --Maxim (talk) 09:12, 14 January 2017 (UTC)
I also support this, per Chosen (talk · contribs). GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:32, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
If that is what they are officially named, then I guess it's for the best (though if it were up to me, I would call them nurses, because it's blatantly obvious that that's what they're supposed to be). TeridaxXD001 (talk) 07:45, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

Gen VIII Model

I noticed that, in the gallery, there is no image showing the nurse/lady in her Gen VIII appearance. Will somebody rip the model, or at least provide a screenshot! Dorkfishie (talk) 19:40, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Move Again

I'm all for keeping it as nurse, for whatever my two cents is worth. Although I don't know of any official material, everyone I've heard referencing her refers to her a a nurse, and it seems intuitive to me. Rounded Chick (talk) 16:50, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
