Monty

Is Monty a minor character? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 14:50, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

I'd think so. Lunick v sonela 16:41, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Absolutely. He hasn't been shown in forever, barely showed up at all, and hasn't had any real impact on anything yet. Certainly not a major character, and in no means a recurring character. The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 22:39, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Turtwig A meant is he worth mentioning. Lunick v sonela 12:16, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Pokémon

Should Brendan's Magikarp, Abra, Nosepass, and Wingull, May's Aron, Whismur, Zigzagoon, and Geodude, and Wally's Shroomish, Nincada, Mawile, and Sableye be mentioned? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 22:37, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

I'd say no; none of their Pokémon are really notable except Rocky, who is a main character. Except maybe just in a "They also have these Pokémon" sense, if that's what you mean. The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 22:39, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
That is what I mean, except for Zigzagoon as it appears in many comics. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 22:42, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Also should {{TrainerPoké}} be used in here with the Pokémon being grouped by the location they were caught in? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 23:02, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Nah, if there was an actual page for Brendan Richards, then yes. Since there isn't, then no. And we can't link it to Brendan's page either, because they're not the same person. R.A. Hunter Blade 01:33, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Storylines

Is this section really needed, especially if there's going to be one for every single arc...? It'd pad the page too much, as well as summarize the complete comic, which is something we probably don't want to do. TheChrisD RantsEdits 16:55, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

I think they aren't really necessary. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 00:25, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
I have to stick to your dission, but I don't like it. I only added that part so we could explain what happens. The plot slightly differs to the games. Would you of deleted them if they were all filled in? Lunick v sonela 12:55, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Yes, because they could just read the comic for themselves as it is a webcomic and this is on the internet. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 13:37, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Real Time

What is the deal with it still being 2009 on the site?! Does RD not change the time or is it somehow automated?--Drakkon 00:28, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Did you read the page? It's in the second paragraph... R.A. Hunter Blade 00:48, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Update

I have updated the page to reflect the most recent comic however, I was just wondering if we should give Monty a subheading of Death like on the actual wikipedia so it would look like this:

Monty Zuma

An original character, named Monty Zuma, was originally intended to be the Trainer of the third starter Pokémon. He has a somewhat stalker-esque relationship with May, which is why she gave Treecko to Wally instead and becomes Professor Birch's assistant. He learned about this when Brendan had an interview, making him now hate May and Brendan. May also persuaded Wally to hate Monty by telling him he hates green, while in reality, he actually likes green. Monty is also revealed to have stolen four Pokémon from Professor Birch and registered them under his ID. As of the latest chapter, he prepared for his revenge. He was challenged by Wally to a Pokémon battle, using his four stolen Pokémon, due to him having no Poké Balls to catch others. Due to Monty being who he is, all of his seen Pokémon were weak Pokémon found in the beginning routes of Hoenn. These Pokémon were still in their first evolution stages, due to Monty going through the grass by screaming and running as fast as he can, which he learned from Brendan, who had done that in the beginning of the comic. All of his Pokémon (Zigzagoon, Wurmple, Poochyena, Taillow) were easily defeated by Wally's Grovyle and May's Marshtomp. However, even if he loses, he still treats the battle as if he won.

Death

In the 999th comic it was revealed that Monty is from another planet. He then transported away with the letters PX-999 appearing to simulate the 999th comic. Because of Recon Dye's known hatred for Monty he revealed that Monty was killed on the way back to his home planet thus ending the characters appearances.

Due to the lack of interest I will go ahead and make the changes anyway. --Daniel1993 23:24, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
