Oleana's subordinate's Garbodor's Steel-type move

I looked around Garbodor's movesets throughout Generations V, VI, VII, and VIII, including all Egg Moves from Trubbish, any tutored moves, any special moves (if any), and any moves it could learn while only as a Trubbish. The only attacking Steel-type move Garbodor CAN learn, by elimination, is Metal Claw (as it could receive Autonomize as an Egg Move from Steelix, Honedge, Doublade, and Aegislash, but the move would have become Max Guard, as it is a Status move). It should be taken into serious consideration that the base Steel-type move used to execute Max Steelspike as a Gigantamax Garbodor is Metal Claw. If anyone wants to dispute it, especially by saying "but it wasn't mentioned in the anime," then do what I did and look through Garbodor's movesets from Generations V-VIII to find another Steel-type move Garbodor is able to use besides Metal Claw. Otherwise, Oleana's subordinate's Garbodor's Steel-type move, learning it at Level 1, IS, in fact, Metal Claw.

Shouldn't all your evidence fall apart when I say "games =/= anime"? There were multiple instances (in the anime) of Pokemon using moves that they can't learn (in the games). Though this seems to be a valid point otherwise, but it has to include "presumably" if added. Itan (talk) 09:19, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
If that's the case, take a look at every single Steel-type move there is under the Steel (type), aside from Autonomize and Metal Claw, and try to pair any one of them in your head with any ol' Garbodor in the anime. "Games =/= anime" isn't a valid argument breaker, though that is somewhat the case, as Jessie's Wobbuffet used Bide ONCE, but he never used the move again. Again: see my argument for what it is by looking at every other Steel-type move, aside from the one attacking and status moves, and pair it with any ol' Garbodor in your head.

No. That is speculation. If it was not stated, then it was not stated. We are not going to guess what it is and potentially be wrong.--ForceFire 15:40, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
