Raimon

We shouldn't compare keeping the name as Raimon Town to the Moor of Icirrus, because 湿原 Shitsugen is a Japanese word and has many translation whereas this place's name is ライモンタウン Raimon Town, where タウン Town is an English word, so the only translation for "Town" is obviously "Town". And plot-wise they have to translate it as Nimbasa Town. When Matthew told Luke about Raimon Battle Tournament, Ash & co. thought that it is held in Raimon City, and were shocked in the next episode when they were in a town instead of a city.--Den Zen 14:16, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

Then shouldn't we also move Super Pokémon Scramble to Super Pokémon Rumble? It's called Rumble in English, and it's using the same "Scramble" name. Why shouldn't we? Because we shouldn't just assume. The episode will be out soon enough anyway, why do we need to rush off and change its name? Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 14:40, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
Don't compare this to a game title. Games are very often renamed for English version, often without any reason. While it's obvious that "Rumble" will be used in the English title of that game, the "Super Pokemon" part may be altered. For all we know, they may title it "Pokemon Rumble 2" or something different because they hardly ever translate the game titles literally. That's why we don't move it. But in Raimon Town/City, the two are obviously intended to cause confusion and that's why it's logical that this confusion will be kept in English version too. --Maxim 15:33, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
I'd have to agree with it turning out to be Nimbasa Town (in the dub), because otherwise the joke in the beginning of the episode is lost. So I'm not really sure why the dub would change the joke, since it isn't one of those untranslatable puns that have been in the anime before. --Dman dustin 16:37, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
Of course it's going to be Nimbasa Town, it's been confirmed in BW039 that the town has the same name as the city with the fourth Gym (because Ash thought he was about to battle for his fourth badge). I seriously can't understand why it's down as Raimon Town here. Watchermark 14:46, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
