Rock Slide in Generation IV

I'm sure that in Generation III, you always got Shadow Ball in caves. However, the caves where I've tried this move in Generation IV are rocky, so this becomes Rock Slide. Wouldn't it be worth mentioning in the Generation IV table? --Johans 02:32, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Okay, now that you reverted it, I think I'll reword it later to avoid confusion ^_^ --Johans 02:39, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

In the Distortion World...

Definitely something worth checking. TTEchidna 16:38, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

I just tested it (in Platinum) and it becomes Tri Attack, oddly enough. ^_^ Delspencerdeltorro 04:24, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

STAB

...for the respective moves, right? ht14 02:46, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

XD/Colo

Are there any changes in moves? Same for TTE's comment: Distortion World. ht14 16:00, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Gen V

Can somebody with Black or White check what Nature Power does in those games? And just a reminder, Distortion World.--Pokélova! 19:08, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Snowpoint City Gym

If Nature Power is used on the icy floors of the Snowpoint City Gym it becomes Ice Beam! I've only tested this in platinum, and only on the icy parts of the floor--not the snowy parts that slow you down. I tested it while battling Candice and it became Tri Attack.^_^ Delspencerdeltorro 05:02, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

And Coumarine City Gym turns Nature Power into Energy Ball, even though the terrain in battle appears to be a building floor. Think it's worth researching other gyms? -- Umbee (talk) 22:53, 11 May 2017 (UTC)

Prankster

If something with Prankster (only possible via hacking, but still) uses this move, do they get effective priority? - unsigned comment from LouisCyphre (talkcontribs)

I would think it would, seeing as it is a status move. Also, please sign your comments with ~~~~. LimeGreenCharizard 05:20, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

Nature Power Moves

Unsure on how to edit some missing info in so I'll just link to it. My Post on Nature Power

Could someone also add in how the new terrain moves affect Nature Power.

Misty Terrain -> Moonblast

Grassy Terrain -> Energy Ball

Electric Terrain -> Thunderbolt - unsigned comment from V4Victini (talkcontribs)

I Found a Move to Add

I have used Earth Power via Nature Power before. I'd call it Sand terrain. This occurs on Route 8 and Route 12 (on the beach) and on Route 13. However, I'm not sure I know how to add it to the table in the article. Could somebody please add it? Superbreeder 05:42, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

Nature Power has a new target

In Gen 6 this move now targets the actual target of the move and not the user. How is a change in target between generations supposed to be represented? --V4Victini (talk) 22:00, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

Nature Power in the Contest Spectacular

I've seen it used in the Contest Spectacular of ORAS and had used it myself in my own copy of the game. The move itself turns into Encore as evident in its animations. It's still considered a Beauty move however, and its effect of "Works better the more the crowd is excited." still happens in-game. --KarjamP (talk) 16:27, 16 December 2014 (UTC)

Gen 6 Team Bosses and Cover Legendaries

Lysandre, Maxie, Archie, and the cover legendaries all have their own unique battlefields when you fight them, or in their final battles for the case of the team leaders. You know, those massive vortices of fire and water, the Fairy/Dark Aura and the terminal chamber of the Cave of Origin. What happens to Nature Power if it is used in one of these places? Azureprism (talk) 10:34, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

Check out the userspace page I put this kind of info on: User:SnorlaxMonster/Environment
Archie's stage is treated as plain terrain (so Nature Power becomes Tri Attack) and Kyogre's Hoenn's Core is treated as water (so Nature Power becomes Hydro Pump). I didn't start gathering this info until part-way through AS, so I didn't get the info for XY, and I haven't played OR so I couldn't test that. --SnorlaxMonster 14:58, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

Ability effects

What effects do abilities like Pixelate, Aerilate and similar abilities have on the move? it is a normal type and if it calls tri-attack that's also a normal type move, so does it change types? Yamitora1 (talk) 18:13, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

never mind, it would seem the move behaves as normal and turns into tri-attack in secret base battles like it should, but tri-attack is a fairy type with pixilate. I tested it out using Greninja, Leafeon and Sylveon. Sylveon transferred its ability to leafeon who then friendly fired greninja for a super effective attack. What type is Nature Power in the Battle Tree?

I haven't yet beaten Pokemon Sun and Moon, but I need to know now what type Nature Power is in the Battle Tree. Is it Tri Attack like in all the battle facilities from previous gens? - unsigned comment from Cloysta (talkcontribs)
