Goodra thing

Wait wait wait wait how do we know that it's Ash's? The opening doesn't seem to hint that. It's just a random shot of evolutions out of nowhere in Arceus-knows-where. Eridanus (talk) 16:21, 10 January 2015 (UTC)

Seriously? Why on earth would they bother spending time on a clip featuring a random Goomy and it evolving all the way to Goodra for the opening, especially when we know that Ash owns one? Besides, Masafumi Mima (the sound director for XY series) tweeted this pic back in November, featuring the main cast and their party (with the spoilers hidden for the obvious reasons). One of Goodra's antennae is visible. At this point, there is absolutely no doubt about Goodra in the opening belonging to Ash. AdynizWanna talk? 19:47, 10 January 2015 (UTC)

Where is Machamp? Do you mean the thing to the right of the person with the Foongus on his shoulder? Because that could just be a human. If not, then where is Machamp? Playerking95 (talk) 12:53, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

Version 2

In the updated version of this opening, during Serena's Pokémon Performance, she is seen wearing a different outfit and a floral crown instead of the dress she had on in the original version. Plus, Braixen and Pancham are wearing clothes to match what Serena's wearing when in the original version, Fennekin and Pancham didn't have anything (save for Pancham's sunglasses). Is it worth mentioning in the Variants section that the scene with Serena's Pokémon Performance was updated to have Serena wearing a new outfit with her Pokémon wearing matching accessories? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 22:40, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

Clemont Error in V2

At the end we see a picture of clemont next to Serena's Braixen and Ash's Sliggoo the only moment between that was between XY064 and XY065. It is impossible that this picture was ever token, because Clemont is at Prism Tower the whole time. Which is an error. [1] Just to point it out karstvgl 14:57, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

Picture taken? This is an opening. It's not like any of these things actually happened. It's just a small video that opens the show, so don't take it so literally. It's not an error. Ataro (talk) 16:01, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

Noibat and Eevee

Since Noibat and Eevee first appeared in Roaring All-Stars, shouldn't the spoilers saying that Ash catches Noibat and Serena catches Eevee be on that page instead? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 16:55, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

We don't know who will be catching the Noibat or the Eevee just yet. Until it is confirmed, it should not be added until said captures happen. MatrVincent (talk) 19:30, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

I think Ash is the one who owns Noibat cause when all them are thrown out of their pokeballs in the 3rd version, Noibat is in ash's roster, so info about Noibat shouldn't be hidden --Pratik_12 Talk 19:38, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Ash and Alian

Wait, they meet? When was this said? --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 21:06, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

It wasn't said, but the newest version shows the two of them meeting each other. It replaced the clip of Clemont standing on a mountain with the lightning behind him. AGGRON989 21:08, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
So it doesn't mean that they'll meet in the anime, right?-- --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 21:17, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
Cause if so, then why is it considered a spoiler?-- --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 21:29, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
It does mean they'll meet in the anime, because it's in the animation for the song. Every "spoiler" shown in the animation will happen sooner or later in the anime - early on, the capture/evolution of Ash's Goodra, the pending capture of Noibat, and Scottie's debut were all shown in this song. So because it shows Ash and Alain meeting each other, it's considered a spoiler showing that it will happen sometime in the future, but we just don't know when yet. AGGRON989 21:34, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
Then isn't it okay for us to add Serena's capture of Eevee? Sure we don't know when it's gonna happen, but it will right? Isn't it the technically the same thing?-- --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 02:17, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
It's a different case here because while it's obvious to us that Serena will catch an Eevee at some point, in the scenes with the Pokémon all coming out of their Poké Balls with their Trainers, Eevee wasn't among them, but Noibat was, so I don't think it counts as confirmation despite the scene with Serena watching the Eevee perform being there. (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong about this) AGGRON989 02:30, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
I guess you could say that. Plus, since Eevee wasn't featured in the PK27 poster for the upcoming movie like Noibat was, maybe the episode about Eevee will come after it premieres. It not appearing as Serena's pokemon coming out of the p-balls might indicate that too. Too bad. It's been a while since a main character had an Eevee, so I'm pretty happy for that. Off-note question, is there anyone preparing a page for Eevee when Serena gets it? Cuz... I could try it. --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 02:56, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
Rahl has one. glikglak 03:04, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
Nevermind then. --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 03:14, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

Scottie's Grovyle

Is it worth mentioning that Scottie's Treecko wasn't updated as a Grovyle after XY075 aired, or do we only mention that for Pokémon that are from the main cast? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 18:13, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Production staff changes in between variants

I went back to look at the credits screen for XY055, XY061 and XY071, and it turns out that they rope in an almost whole new panel of staff for each variant of the OP. The current table lists the production staff for the first variant. I would have added the staff tables for the other 2 variants, too, but the article currently does not separate the variants by section (such as in V (Volt)), so I am holding on for now. I saw a twitter post where someone's English Apple Music account titled the song "Get a Ban Ban". Should this be listed somewhere as a possible official English title of the song? Playerking95 (talk) 14:43, 2 September 2019 (UTC)

Apple Music calls the album "Get a Bang! Bang!" but the song "Get a Ban Ban" so I wouldn't put too much faith into it. --Abcboy (talk) 14:49, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
