Plot

So I just found the plot for the new movie today and wanted to share it.

"Once a year, a "wind festival" is held in Fura City, the city where people live together with the wind. While the ancient belief that the legendary Pokémon Lugia will appear and bring about the blessed wind on the final day of the festival still exists, the people that gather in the city participate in the festival while wrapped in their own thoughts...... Lisa, the highschooler and Pokémon rookie. Kagachi, the braggart that just can't stop telling tall tales. Trito, the timid researcher that lacks confidence. Hisui, the old eccentric that hates Pokémon. Largo, the mysterious little girl that hangs around in the forest all by herself. These are the people that Ash and Pikachu meet. That meeting makes everyone's story start moving forward."

Can we add this in under a blurb section like the previous movies?--Jacob Kogan (talk) 14:48, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

Added the summary--BigDocFan (talk) 15:22, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
Please do not steal things from other sites. Serebii especially does not permit anything to be taken from their site. Tiddlywinks (talk) 16:58, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
As a rule, if anyone wants to post something like that, please attribute its source. And if anyone sees something like this asking to be added, please refrain if it is not attributed (and if it is, be smart depending on what the source is). Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:11, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
Sorry about that, I just assumed the summary was OK.--BigDocFan (talk) 17:49, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

Generation of Pokémon

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe all the wild Pokémon in this movie (except Zeraora obviously) are from Generation I or II. Is this worth noting in the article, and possibly also in the Fula City article? It does imply that Fula City is possibly in the Johto region (this last sentence is purely speculation). Kidburla (talk) 22:55, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

You are mistaken. Toren has a Lurantis, and one of the trainers in the capture race has a Weavile. TheFatPanda (talk) 23:05, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
My comment was talking about wild Pokémon here... i.e. not trainer Pokémon. M20 was set in Kanto and yet there was a trainer with an Incineroar. I was going mainly by wild Pokémon. Kidburla (talk) 23:09, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
Ahhh, my mistake. TheFatPanda (talk) 23:10, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Pokémon Generations films

When I saw the movie in a UK cinema, the shorts PG04 and PG06 were attached (in that order). This continues the Generation II theme to the release. Were the same shorts used in all showings? If so, we could add these specifics to the article, because right now it just says Pokémon Generations shorts, but not which. Kidburla (talk) 22:58, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Fish

Near the beginning of the movie we see an underwater building in the shape of a Tentacruel. A fish Pokémon swims away from it but I only caught a short glimpse of it. At the time I assumed it was Wishiwashi but now I'm not sure. I can't match it with any of the Pokémon from the article. Did anyone see which Pokémon this was? Kidburla (talk) 23:02, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Looked like Remoraid to me--BigDocFan (talk) 21:10, 23 December 2018 (UTC)

Detective Pikachu trailer

The article says that a Detective Pikachu trailer was seen in UK showings, but at least in my cinema (Vue Westfield Stratford City, London) there was no such trailer, only the interview with Rob Letterman (that's already mentioned) and the other segments mentioned. I was really hoping they would show the trailer on the big screen, but they definitely didn't. Was it only shown at some screenings? Kidburla (talk) 23:06, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Yep, same same for the Showcase Cinema in Southampton, Hampshire. TheFatPanda (talk) 23:10, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Jason

Who's Jason? Isn't he the same character as "Risa's friend"? --Maxim (talk) 10:13, 8 December 2018 (UTC)

Jason is Toren's fellow researcher.--BigDocFan (talk) 10:14, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for the info. --Maxim (talk) 10:23, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
I'm guessing Jason is the one with a brown afro, right? How about the other Researchers that got speaking roles? How were they referred to in the CCs? I'm guessing something like "Researcher A", "Researcher B" etc.? Same for the Poachers? --Maxim (talk) 17:43, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
Jason is this character. The researchers are "RESEARCHER 1/2/3". The hunters are "MALE HUNTER-BLUE TEE" and "MALE HUNTER-BEARD". --Abcboy (talk) 17:52, 8 December 2018 (UTC)

Lugia (M21)?

Are we going to create an article on that or not? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:41, 23 December 2018 (UTC)

It could go either way, I think. Lugia does have only mere moments of screentime, but its mythology is intimately tied to the story of the movie so it's not really the same as Kyogre in Movie 9 or Regigigas in 11. The Great Butler (talk) 20:56, 23 December 2018 (UTC)
I see. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:03, 23 December 2018 (UTC)
