Well, we know for a fact that movie 1 was cannon. That and the info that Shuu is from LaRousse City would certainly suggest that even if the events didn't take place - the locations certainly exist. In fact, I was thinking of a promotional movie map issued for the 7th movie that featured the locations of the movies pointed out on a map of the PM world. --Zeta 01:12, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
