Furfrou Forms on Release page

Hello, Should we add the other forms of Furfrou in its release page? Those were released on the same day the regular furfrou was released. PokeAmour (talk) 16:01, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

Megas in 'unreleased' box

I'm thinking that, as Mega Evolutions are tracked in a separate release table from the general table of species and forms release dates, they should also be taken out of the 'upcoming' table at the top of the page as well - partly to also reduce bloat. Maybe temporary transformations like megas should be kept in their own section? Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? GloverMist (talk) 19:58, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

Unreleased region forms can be put in their separate table too. Anzasquiddles (talk) 03:39, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
As regional forms are listed in the same release table as new species, I’m fine with them being in the unreleased table. But do we agree that megas could at least be removed from it? GloverMist (talk) 21:29, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
I don't have any objections against it.Anzasquiddles (talk) 04:33, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
Me neither, but yes we should make a separate box for unreleased megas as well as regional forms. Does that sound like a plan? PokeAmour (talk) 15:47, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
What you’ve done looks good to me! GloverMist (talk) 17:20, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
Thanks! How should we make one for regional forms? Where should we put it? PokeAmour (talk) 04:11, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
Stupidly late reply, but looking at the page just now and I don't think we need to separate the regional forms from the normal 'upcoming' table? They worked fine combined like in the release table and they aren't special cases like the megas, which make sense separated. Any thoughts? GloverMist (talk) 18:28, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

Australia and Oricorio

Australia has the Pa'u style, but for a few hours at release on March 14, Sensu was made available via Field Research. UxieLover1994 (talk) 04:09, 26 March 2022 (UTC)

Noted, will add to the page. Also, i feel like we should have a list of all the regions/countries where Pa'u style is available. Has anyone on the GO community made a map of its locations yet? Anzasquiddles (talk) 04:38, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
There have been attempts, but no map so far is accurate. There's speculation that Pa'u Style Oricorio has the same zone as Corsola, but it doesn't explain why locations in Australia or New Zealand which normally don't have Corsola (such as Melbourne) can catch Pa'u instead of Sensu. Plus there are reports of areas with both Corsola and Pom-Pom Style Oricorio. UxieLover1994 (talk) 08:49, 26 March 2022 (UTC)

Region-exclusive Pokémon: What the hell's the logic behind Set 1's grouping?

like i understand grouping the exclusives by hemispheres, or the Asia/Europe/Americas division, but i don't get how Set 1 is categorized. especially since we already have the "special availability" section at the bottom of the table that serves pretty much the same purpose (as a grab bag category for the mons that don't fit into the other sets). Zorua

It appears Zorua's release on October 25 was an error. The end spawns didn't happen in New Zealand, no spawns occurred at all in Australia, and the line is blocked from trading and being imported to HOME. This technically makes the line a New Zealand exclusive like Relicanth, but far more restrictive, for the time being. Niantic hasn't said anything yet about the error. UxieLover1994 (talk) 08:11, 25 October 2022 (UTC)

how many pokemon are in this game now?

I have no idea. WASPED 302168 (talk) 17:14, 26 February 2023 (UTC)

On 8 March there will be 783 Pokémon in GO (excluding forms) CrazyPikmin (My Edits) 16:29, 5 March 2023 (UTC)

Cross Gen Evos

With gen 7 being added to the unreleased pokemon table at the top of the page, should we add cross generation evos froms gen 8 and 9 such as wyrdeer, basculegion, and kingambit to the unreleased pokemon sections? Ursaluna, Sneasler, and Overqwil have already been released, and Kleavor's model was pushed recently. The Gimmighoul line just released giving precedent for generation nine pokemon, and the paldean forms were added to the regional forms table. Cursola is also still missing with Galarian Corsola being the last Galarian regional to be released.

I could see these either being combined in the regional form table since they are later generation pokemon which are likely to be introduced earlier than the rest of their generation due to the relation to their base form, or they could also have their own table since they are technically new species unlike regional forms.

The full list would be Cursola, Wyrdeer, Kleavor, Basculegion (M&F), Annihilape, Farigiraf, Dudunsparce (2&3 Segment), Kingambit, and Clodsire.

Potentially Enamorus as well given the rest of the Hisuian pokemon would be listed at that point, and Regieleki and Regidrago's release show that being related to earlier generation legendaries may indicate an earlier release.

Thoughts?

Methinks the reason why we don't show the "unreleased" rows for Gens VIII-IX is because Gen 8 and 9 have not actually been officially implemented to GO yet. There's currently only a handful of mons from those generations that are in GO, and way too many unrevealed ones. Maybe if Gen 8 is officially added to GO then we can have the rows. Anzasquiddles (talk) 16:18, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
I get why normal pokemon from generation 8 and 9 like Corviknight and Lechonk wouldn't be listed, but regional forms like Obstagoon and Perrserker have been in the game for years, and we're still getting new ones such as Ursaluna only a few months ago. Cursola and Basculegion already have their prevos on the page in the regional form table too. Maybe wait to include the gen 9 cross evos until one appears in game, but I dont think its unreasonable for Cursola, Wyrdeer, Kleavor, and Basculegion to be listed somewhere on the page. Regionals and Sloppy Geography

I do question on whether we should have a list on where regional Pokémon can be found outside of their intended region. There are reports of Klefki being found in the southeastern United Kingdom (Dover and Brighton), Belgum, and western Germany, reports of Hawlucha found in the very-southern United States (such as Ajo, Arizona and McAllen, Texas), reports of Tropius being found in the southern tips of Spain, and since the Festival of Colors began yesterday, there's been unverified reports of Sensu Style Oricorio being found in Australia (Avalon Beach, New South Wales) and New Zealand (Devonport, Auckland), along with reports of India having both Baile Style and Sensu Style. We don't have to make a mention on this page, but on the pages of the Pokémon in question in a similar style to the locations on Oricorio's page. UxieLover1994 (talk) 12:52, 9 March 2023 (UTC)

iirc, the reason as to why some regional mons are found outside of their intended regions is because their actual regions are delineated by rectangles that envelop the region, instead of strictly bounded by the region's political borders. For example, Klefki's region is a rectangle covering the entirety of France, which so happens to cover some bits like the UK and Belgium and Germany and northern Spain and whatnot. Shiny Shock Drive Genesect Release

Hi guys, with Shiny Shock Drive Genesect coming on May 2-9, 2023, do you think we should make a separate section for each of the genesect drives with their shiny releases in the legendary and mythical raid section instead of having all 5 drives in one? Please let me know what you guys think, thanks! - unsigned comment from PokeAmour (talkcontribs)

shiny additions

hello. I am considering adding the release dates for all of the shiny mons in the game, but I don't know how many people are on board with this idea. do you approve? Setralystic (talk) 23:20, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

We already have a page for that, so... idk, maybe we can just link to it on the "by availability" page if we haven't already? Anzasquiddles (talk) 23:39, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
I think that's a great idea Sertalystic, but my best guess is to make a shiny availability page instead of by date, but by every month per year. However, as Anzasquiddles said, there is already a list for that but I think maybe it would be nice to maybe revamp that idea under the shiny availability page instead of on here? Let me know what you guys think. PokeAmour (talk) 03:29, 30 November 2023 (UTC)

Black Kyurem accidentally released?

https://twitter.com/taliskerdbeg_pp/status/1735830048152985744

Unfortunately, I can't read Japanese, but someone said that Kyurem was released in GO accidentally. Should we add it? ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 02:13, 16 December 2023 (UTC)

Carnival of Love

Diamond Trim and La Reine Trim Furfrou were accidently made available in Australia and the Philippines on February 13, 2024, for approximately 12 hours. There's also unverified reports that France had all trims but their native La Reine Trim for a few minutes, Japan lacked their native Kabuki Trim, and New Zealand briefly had Sensu Style Oricorio spawn for around 30 minutes. Should we make a mention of these errors? UxieLover1994 (talk) 08:33, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
