Exp. All

Exp. All is not a key item. It's written in usual white instead of red in Stadium, also it has quantity. Marked +-+-+ 14:11, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Lift Key

Lift Key in the search box points to List of key items in Gen III. On the Rocket Hideout page, the word "Lift" links here, and the word "Key" links to Gen III again. This seems to be a poor linking strategy for people who are looking for the link key in the early games (RBY). Why doesn't Lift Key have its own page like Silph Scope does? Even changing the url to try to find a main page takes you to the Gen III key items page. Pointing to these generation-specific pages, especially from the search box, can be very confusing for someone not looking for that generation (even if the answer is the same). And the only reason that I can find the information about the lift key on the Rocket Hideout page is that I already know where to look. The site seems to do a poor job of answering people's questions about where to find the lift key in Pokemon Yellow, which is actually a question on Answers.com that I am trying to help someone with right now. Removing these pages

Is there any real need for the List of Key Item pages to be kept? Most of these items are already in the "List of Items by Name" page, and most of these items also have their own individual pages with all this information and more. It seems like unnecessary repetition to have this information in 3 places. Perhaps either remove this page, or remove the Key Items for the "List of Items by Name" page?--13akoors (talk) 16:49, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

I guess it's not a top priority right now, but there may be something to it.
One use case I see, though, is that you can easily see all Key Items (per generation/game), which neither of the pages you mention can do. One idea (in the rather distant future, I guess) could be to combine all generations into "List of Key Items", and change the format (I'm thinking of a single table with just names/links and ticks or something).
Also, note that (currently, at least), they're all needed, since they're linked to rather frequently (e.g., search "Oak's Parcel", or see where the by-name list links it to). Nescientist (talk) 17:55, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
As the name implies, Key Items are a very special category... It is highly worth having a page that lists them for each generation. And nothing needs to change about other pages. Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:43, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
