2004 ~ 2006 Issues of Beckett's Collector - under a different name?
I found a very interesting editor's note in the 100th issue of the magazine.

It reads: "By 2003, the interest in Pokémon had started to slow down a bit, so anime coverage was added. After seven issues had passed, anime became so popular that the magazine's title was changed to Beckett Anime. Thirty issues later, Manga became part of the magazine ... In 2006. something wonderful happened: a renewed interested in Pokémon enabled us to happily bring the magazine's title back to its beginning."
This would explain why issues between 2003 and 2006 seem to be so hard to find any documentation of; we currently don't even have images of the covers of issues from this point.
If these magazines went by "Beckett Anime" or "Beckett Anime and Manga" during this period, is this something we should include and catalog in both this page and the main page on the magazine? Bruxishandbeckettfan (talk) 17:11, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
- Yep, it would be good to add that to the page and cite that magazine page as the source.
- As far as I've been able to tell the names the magazine went by were:
- Beckett Pokémon Collector (1-41, Sep 1999 to Jan 2003)
- Beckett Pokémon & Anime Collector (42-47, Feb 2003 to July 2003)
- Beckett Anime Collector (48-78, Aug 2003 to Feb 2006)
- Beckett Anime & Manga Collector (79-85 & 87-88, Mar 2006 to Sep 2006 & Nov 2006 - Dec 2006)
- Beckett Pokémon Unofficial Collector (86, 89-127, Apr 2007 to July 2010)
- I've also been working on trying to compile info of all of them into a table at the link below, to add to the table on this page.
