Unlike all other Pokémon who share at least one of their two abilities with their evolutions, a Rhydon with Lightningrod will always evolve into a Rhyperior with Solid Rock, while one with Rock Head will become a Rhyperior with Lightningrod. It is unknown why this is the case.

This trivia is not true, a Rhydon with Lightingrod will always evolve into a Rhyperior with Lightingrod, and a Rhydon with Rock Head will always evolve into a Rhyperior with Solid Rock, unless the Rhydon was obtained in Pal Park, where it'd be random. Should it be deleted?--Eyaculandoenellodo 03:31, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Wow that trivia is fail. Rock Head goes to Rock Head to Solid Rock. Lightningrod goes to LR to LR.--PsyRider 03:33, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
User:TTEchidna added that back in a while back [1], and I took it as true. Now, after going to pain-staking effort to IV breed a Rhyhorn with the right nature, egg moves and ability, raise it 41 annoying levels and evolve it into a Rhyperior, I find out that it's completely wrong. You can bet I'm pissed. :\ --Poppy :3 13:26, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Replaced?

"In Generation V games, Zapdos has Lightning Rod as its Hidden Ability, but it cannot be obtained by any legitimate means. It is replaced with Static as its Hidden Ability in Generation VI."

Are we sure it was replaced? I fully admit I haven't been following things like this thoroughly, so I probably don't know all of what the fandom's discovered, but the fansite coverage in the first few days of release made it sound like there was a possibility that some species had two Hidden Abilities. Was this proven false somehow? If not, why are we so sure Zapdos doesn't still have the possibility of having Lightning Rod? Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 16:05, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

Ability with negative effect

This page is in the Abilities with negative effects category, but from generation V onwards it's not hindering anymore. Should it still be in that category? CrazyPikmin (talk) 08:14, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
