>Think her Japanese name is an olbique reference to "Prima"? Or just a mis-pronounciation of "Prim" (as in Prim and Propper)? - Zeta

I'd definitely go with Prim. "purimu" is about as close as you can get in Japanese. The only Prima I know of is Lorelei's English anime name, which doesn't make much sense to associate with. --Meowth346

Could be both. I'm thinking 'proper' mostly because of the way she sits, but it could be a side note.

Ever notic how much she looks like Agatha? Did you also ever notice how (appearence wise) Pheobes Pokémon would be more suited to Glacia and vise versa. The whole Hoenn Elite is a bit weird to me.. - Ferret 08:54, 3 May 2005 (UTC)

I don't think she looks much like Agatha...save for the hair.--BJG

Yeah she does. Hair is similar, her clothes are very similar and her posture is pretty much the same. Maybe her grandmother is Agatha? Something to think about. - Ferret 09:15, 3 May 2005 (UTC)

Posture? Agatha's standing defiantly and Glacia is sitting like she's about to have High Tea.--BJG

They're both stood legs apart, back straight, arms out in-front looking pretty confident. - Ferret 07:29, 4 May 2005 (UTC)

Phoebe's Pokémon?

This listing is for Phoebe's Pokémon in the video games in which she has appeared.

What's that doing there? - MTC 05:53, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I tried to find her name (Glacia) in Internet and in name books but I never found it. Where do you think it cames from?

It's made-up, and a reference to "glacial" as the article says. evkl 09:42, 11 December 2005 (CST)

I can't believe this! Every other name in this game is real and they can't make an exception whitout a reason!

It probably isn't real, but it sounds real, so that's the point. I mean, is Bugsy real? Probably not, but it sounds familiar. --Greengiant 15:03, 14 December 2005 (CST)

"Bugsy" is kind of real. It's a old nickname for someone who acted crazy.

==What, what

?== Glacia had trained in the region of Johto before journeying to Hoenn to become part of the third installment of the Elite Four.

Where did that come from?

I know she says she came from somewhere else before coming to Hoenn (she wants to prove how strong her Ice Pokemon can be in such a tropical environment) but I don't remember anything about Johto.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 21:05, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
If anything, I'd guess she'd be Sinnoh-native before Johto-native. After all, the player's from Johto originally. --TTEchidna 22:29, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Sounds like typical random NPC stuff. I so wish the Fame Checker was in every game. I sort of remember someone saying something like that. I'll see the next replay of Sapphire. --Zeta 02:34, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Is it just me?

Is it just me? Or does Glacia's sprite make her look older than the official art?--Kuki 23:00, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Question

Uh...... I think someone trolled the page. Where it says "Her strategy is to rely on items." First of all, doesn't EVERY E4 member use this strategy? Is that statement really even the truth? Bigbug92 05:58, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

It says it under Trainer's Eyes/Match Call. So it is true, and stated in the games. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 06:05, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

Missed Opportunity in ΩRαS

Where can I go to discuss with others about the fact that Game Freak had the opportunity to give Glacia a Glaceon in her rematch party and they didn't take it? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 03:54, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

The forums. That kind of discussion is not really suited to anywhere on the wiki, since it's just a subjective opinion. —AndyPKMN (talk) 04:00, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

Trainer's Eye in ORAS

One thing I noticed about Glacia is that her Trainer's Eye Strategy quote in ORAS is "I make use of items to assist in battle." Yet she does not actually use any items in her initial battle in these games, and in her rematch, the only item present on her side is the Glalitite. Is this significant enough for Trivia?
