Best Wishes! Season 2 plot

Just a heads-up, this page should probably be protected. Famitsu's site is confirming the information from CoroCoro and stating that Giovanni is going to "lead Team Rocket in their biggest mission in history" in Best Wishes! Season 2. All that's known about this so far is that it involves Meloetta, so a speculation clamp should probably be put on here. --The Great Butler 03:23, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

Second Kingler?

Are we sure he has a second Kingler? I always thought it was the same Kingler, but he just brought it back to its cage before he went to his office. Littlmiget123 (talk) 05:37, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

Giovanni's Pokemon

What happened to his Golem, Kingler, Machamp, Rhydon, and Cloyster in the end of battle for the badge? i mean didn't the gym blow up? - - unsigned comment from Archerboy58 (talkcontribs)

We never find out -Spriteit (talk) 00:38, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
You mean because Jessie James and Meowth blasted off? Well, it has happened several times in the Pokémon anime, and strangely most of the times the houses those three blew up from were fine afterwards. Yeah, it doesn't make sense, but that's what I noticed throughout the show.
I think those Pokémon are back in Giovanni's PokéBalls. I mean they are his Pokémon after all. TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 01:19, 13 May 2013 (UTC)

Move

shouldn't we move his Kingler and others under "status unknown" since they haven't been seen since. USer:Animaltamer708:27, 5 October 2014 (UTC)

Movie 20

Can someone provide proof that this supposed post-credits scene actually exists? Please? --The Great Butler (talk) 06:42, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Koffing

What's the point of putting Koffing as Giovanni's Pokémon? --Hikaru Wazana (talk) 13:00, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Giovanni was the one who gave it to James. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:03, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
Which episode brings this information?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 13:06, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
I suppose the fact that you don't bring an answer with that statement means it doesn't exist in the anime, right?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 23:03, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
Anyone?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 15:40, 05 February 2022 (UTC)
Well, the bit about James getting it as a gift (either Christmas or oseibo depending on the language version) was stated in Island in the Giant Pokemon. Giovanni being the one who gave James Koffing, however, was not stated in the anime itself. It WAS, however, stated during Jessie and James' event in Pokemon Masters EX, which counts under Anime canon. Weedle Mchairybug (talk) 15:47, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
Problem for me is that we have literally several versions of James that use Koffing (Anime, Movies, Lets Go, Yellow, Puzzle League, Electric Tale, Pokémon GO). The James that appears in Masters appears to be based on what appears in the movies, I honestly can't see what the point of this information being present in the main anime versions of these characters. For me it's almost an easter egg that at most would fit like Trivia because Masters doesn't even have a fixed chronology or history, it's just a bunch of random characters from games interacting with each other, supposedly if the anime gives another version, there's no reason to put it another way.
For me, it lacks confirmation within the anime itself. I'll never understand the rule that something has to be 100% confirmed, it seems they only remember it when it's convenient.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 16:00, 05 February 2022 (UTC)
You just admitted you think Masters James is anime James (movies, some at least, are still canon to the main anime). It may not be confirmed in the main anime, but Masters gives that confirmation for us.--ForceFire 07:25, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
In fact, when I talked about movies, I was referring to the chronology of the movies after I Choose You!. Even because this entry of James in the game was supposed to be a tie in of the Zarude movie. But anyway, let it go.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 13:15, 06 February 2022 (UTC)
