"It's a one-hit KO!"

I'm playing Pokémon Black 2 (Gen V). My Palpitoad got hit by a Whiscash with Fissure and even though it wasn't a super-effective attack, it got KO'd in one attack and game said "It's a one-hit KO!". My Palpitoad was of a lower level than the Whiscash. The page currently only states this expression for Mystery Dungeon.

Fissure's OHKO move status is stated right in the opening line of the article. The Mystery Dungeon statement is to note that the in-game statement was changed in Gates to Infinity, from causing "calamitous damage" to match the "It's a one-hit KO!" that is used everywhere else. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 18:17, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

Dig interaction

This indicates that Fissure can hit semi-invulnerable Pokémon via Dig in Generation II only. While I tend to believe them (when looking at other sources as well), I don't use Fissure that often, so I am not 100% sure. Nescientist (talk) 18:32, 18 August 2016 (UTC)

Can confirm in Generation 3, it will miss if the opponent is underground. Tested in FireRed: lvl 100 Dugtrio vs lvl 18 Diglett. -- Sckalez (talk) 23:00, 11 March 2022 (UTC)

Same case in Generation 7. Tested in Ultra Moon: lvl 100 Hippowdon vs lvl 27 Ditto. -- Sckalez (talk) 00:56, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
