Interesting to note
This is the first time Ash has ever taken out a Pokemon while being trapped in a net. Other times, all three characters wait for things to resolve and be saved from the net by their Pokemon. Eric Stuart stuff again
Eric Stuart's subliminal message is confirmed, and many people, including myself, have tried reversing the gibberish personally. Eric indeed says "Leo Burnett and 4Kids are the devil! Leo Burnett-" only to be stopped by Victribel's screams. I believe this should be added to the article because it is confirmed, and why do you say it's not notable? Come on, Brock and James guy trying to mock 4Kids for no apparent reason, and then couple of years later getting very angry when PUSA took over seems pretty notable. ////Mutak\\\\ (Talk) 07:20, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

- I can reserve just about any line, and make The King wonder why there's no money in the fridge for instance. Point is, you're always going to get something different when someone reverses the lines, and it's completely coincidental that this happens to sound like that. Voice actors are paid to recite what's directly on their lines, not make subliminal messages that can ONLY be found out if someone reverses the lines, which are coincidental anyway. - I'd say it's coincidental if he said something irrational and unrelated to the subject, regardless of how clear or unclear it is, for example "My computer jumped tomorrow" or "Table bugs are the best". - It's actually quite obvious, if you actually open up Audacity and reverse it. I don't know how it isn't notable how not just the voice actor, but also (possibly) the writers and several others involved decided to put in a shoutout, however negative, to 4kids and the "father" of advertising using cartoons. To say that it isn't confirmed and then to not listen is kind of backwards. As was said before, this isn't the ridiculous kind of backward message where if you listen to "Another One Bites the Dust" backwards it kind of barely says "It's fun to smoke marijuana." - Hey, this thing is pretty notable and confirmed (there are videos proving that there is a message), at least if you ask from me. Couldn't we put something like: "When James's voice is played backwards when he's bitten by Victreebel, he's heard saying "Leo Burnett and 4Kids are the devil! Leo Burnett..."", and add nothing to it, like what Eric Stuart might be "trying" to tell? That sounds pretty neutral to me. Please consider the possibility. English Dub Goof
Hi guys, I noticed that there is a little goof somewhere in the third minute of the episode. After Brocks imitation of Ash his Pokédex both Ash and Misty gaze at him for being in his Womanizing mode. Misty will frown and reply: "Here we go again" but two seconds before that you can see Ash his mouth moving but not saying anything.
How do you guys see this scene?
