THOSE.TITLES.ARE.UNCONFIRMED!!! --Maxim 15:53, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
They are, by Pokeani [1] --Nick. 15:55, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Since when Pokeani is an official source? --Maxim 16:04, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- Where we get the titles? --Nick. 16:10, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- From magazine scans. Pokeani usually gives them first but the official confirmation is always in the magazines. Pokeani has proven to be wrong several times in the past. --Maxim 16:39, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Pearl
Can someone confirm if this Jun is Pearl? --Nick. 16:01, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- I dont think its Pearl from the game then they'd already have Lucas appear and also Ash already has Paul they just have the same in game names I thought it'd be more likley for his deffalt namen in Pearl anyways --Tsg812 15:20, 15 October 2008
Great! I was afraid this guy would show up! --User:Paul'sDialga (John 20:14, 15 October 2008 (UTC))
Jun might be Pearl from the game, but I feel like it shouldn't be included unless we have absolute proof, like a preview or a picture. Because it could simply be someon with the same name. You probably ask what about Gym leaders or other trainers, the difference in that case is Jun is a default name with other options, Gym Leaders and Elite Four names are set in stone. --Dman dustin 20:29, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- "Jun" is as much a default name for Pearl as Gary is for Blue. Anyway, I think we should resist the urge to create any pages relating to this guy until the episode airs... The fact that the episode is titled based on him indicates he won't be as insignificant as a COTD, so I'm wary about putting something for "in the anime" on the article on his game counterpart (we don't have Gary's page on Blue's, do we? Exactly.), but at the same time, premature article creation based on the fact that it displays "Rival Trainer Jun"... not good either. Soooo... I'm saying let's not jump the gun here and WATCH WHAT WE PUT.
- Wouldn't doubt that Monferno or Infernape appears here, though... or even Empoleon. What's to say that this guy isn't Paul's original rival, before Ash showed up? TTEchidna 22:06, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- First real rival since Gary from the games (disregarding cameos). Gives me hope for Leaf to show eventually Aura-Knight 22:10, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- maybe its ritchie...lol...nah i belive its pearl from he games because i remember somewhere it said that the guy had an empoleon soo yea Ritchie
- It is possible that he is Pearl in the games since there is no other trainer that can be named Jun in jp unless Handsome will be called Jun. D: Also, he is Palmer son, who might also have an anime appearance, to showcase their relation, maybe. I'd be happy if he would have the same role as Scott in AG [: --kebs. 14:17, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

- Here is proof [2] --Tsg812 14:57 October 30 2008
- Yeah, the preview confirms WITHOUT A DOUBT, that Pearl=Jun.
And look at the team members (the first time a rival has the SAME starter as the player!)--KukiTalk 20:14, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
- Only if you consider Dawn the player. If Chimchar is taken as Ash's primary Sinnoh starter (which it pretty much is) then the team makes sense. Also, he's pretty true to form, using the team you battle in Canalave, and counting down from 9. Aura-Knight 00:22, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Shouldnt we add a link to him now that hes confirmed?? --Hey1031 22:09, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
- Next week, same with Grotle Aura-Knight 00:22, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Nice
I saw the preview today. Could a sysop add Jun's Roserade and Staraptor....or at least Roserade and Staraptor.--☆Tavisource 04:39, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
