Foreign Names

Can someone tell us what a coin is called in different languages? Especially Japanese. DawnoftheSylveonShower (talk) 15:07, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

Would it be too much trouble/a waste of time if someone made a gallary on this page of all the official TCG coins so far? --いぬみみ 00:55, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Not a bad idea. ht14 00:59, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
It would be hellish long, but I wouldn't be against it. MaverickNate 01:00, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
I was just going to ask this. So scans of every coin we can get our hands of is good and wanted, then? 'Cause I have like 20 of these. --ZestyCactus 00:08, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Obviously with reason, ZC. Just like footprint. We don't want to list all 493 of them... minus those with absent footprints. ht14 00:40, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
I've got some too, at home.
Possibly, we could list them in thumbnail format in the Theme Deck infobox that I know you're all dying for me to make. TTEchidna 09:46, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh wow, been a while since I've seen this page. I've got a bunch of coins as well so maybe we can separate them like TTEchidna suggested? --いぬみみ 22:11, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

List

Can we list them in a template, like the Bandai Cardass cards?

Front Coin Set Notes Back
  Chansey Base Set
Neo Genesis
The Chansey coin was included with the Base Set Theme decks, Blackout, Brushfire, Overgrowth and Zap!, as well as the 2 Player Starter Set and the Japan-exclusive Starter Deck. It was later included in the Neo Genesis Neo Introduction Set, released in Japan only. 100px

- I like Vuvuzela2010's Idea, and I have spent like 20 hours watching Youtube Video's of people opening their theme decks to figure out which one contains what coins, and I have all my sources and everything. I just need to know if we should go with her Idea, or maybe have a link to another page with all that info on it. Also it would be good if the DeckInfoBox Template could be updated to include an image of what coin is contained within it.

I'll need to make it into an actual template first (since its just the raw code thats on this talk page). But its probably going to take up a lot of space, so I think the size of the coins should be reduced to 50px, like this:

50px

Vuvuzela2010 Δ 20:26, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

- Ya that sounds like a good idea to shrink them. But we should be careful how much we do, cause we need to balance space saving with being able to see the images. So just let me know when you finish the Template.

I've made the template, and I've set up an example, let me know what you think, personally I think it should be a different colour, but I'm not sure what it should be though. Vuvuzela2010 Δ 20:31, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
I think the color is good, its just the pictures are a bit too small in my opinion. Maybe like 75px or 80px. Creoix 05:40, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

hey idk how the code thing works but i have coin that isnt on this list but its also bigger than the normal coins if you want i could send a photo to someone in the discord? - unsigned comment from Beekle babey (talkcontribs)

Silver Entei coin

I bought one of the Shining Fates mini tins and got a silvery Entei coin not listed. Should the page be updated for it? I also have a Battle Deck Rayquaza whithout the cracked ice, Evan2030 (talk) 22:19, 9 July 2021 (UTC)

Same here. Was wondering about that one. Sumanuil (talk) 23:53, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

Upside down backs of coins

I've been noticing a handful of coins that are flipped upside down on the reverse of the coin. So far I've only noticed it on Genesect coins, specifically on silver ovals, silver cracked ice, and red mirror holo. I only have two other Genesect coins (silver rainbow and purple rainbow), both of which are normal. Should this be noted somewhere? I can't find any information about upside down backs of Genesect coins anywhere. Samerz360 (talk) 19:21, 2 January 2022 (UTC)

Possible split

This page is really long, so maybe it can be splitted into Coin (TCG) and List of coins (TCG). Good idea? CrazyPikmin (talk) 10:58, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

Supporting the idea. Maverick Nate, come here so we can talk it out. --Bfdifan2006 (T/C) 16:44, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
Excuse my edit summary on my reversion. Maverick Nate is the former head of TCG. But former or not, it's still a decision be a staff member.--ForceFire 17:02, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
Just to be clear, I don't have a position on this, I just thought it would be okay to add the split template since someone suggested it. Since it was removed by an admin, I'll leave it be. Thank you! Landfish7 22:42, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
I don't think the page should be split, but I would REALLY appreciate if the sections (including the generations) were collapsible - this page is a nightmare to load on mobile! Samerz360 (talk) 02:14, 4 July 2022 (UTC)

Raikou Coin (light gold, mirror holo)

Based on images posted on the site, shouldn't Raikou's coin from 2018 should also be available out of the Fusion Strike blisters (Single Pack & Premium Checklane Blisters at least)? Deoxys386 (talk) 14:45, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Deoxys386
