Merging R/B with Yellow

Should we merge RBY together? And is this the case for all the gyms? ht14 03:37, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

This is not the case for all gyms; some leaders in Yellow (most in fact) use different Pokémon. I’m not really sure if it would make more sense to merge duplicate data or to consistently use separate sections for each game. IIMarckus 04:21, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Fishing

Isn't it possible to catch wild Magikarp in the gym in Generation I?--Skaisdead 01:01, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Confirmed, it is possible to catch wild Magikarp in the gym. Shouldn't this be added to the article?--Skaisdead 01:05, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
The Good Rod is also perfectly usable in all Generation I as well to catch Goldeen and Poliwag. Not only that, all rods have a reaction in Gold and Silver, but I don't seem to recall Corsola or Staryu appearing at the gym--it wasn't until Crystal that fishing in the Cerulean Gym was made to not yield anything.
In fact, I seem to recall a little fishing could be done in Lorelei's chamber at the Indigo Plateau in Generation I with the same rod compatability found at the Cerulean Gym...--Shiningpikablu252 02:14, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

HG SS

I can't find Misty in the gym in HGSS, someone can help me? - unsigned comment from Gabo 2oo (talkcontribs)

Misty's Pokémon in Generation I

This was mentioned above, but never brought to a conclusion. Is there any need for Misty's team to be listed separately for Red/Blue and Yellow? They're exactly the same. Schreiber 02:01, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

Except they have completely different sprites, no need to merge or anything. Frozen Fennec 02:21, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

Fishing in Yellow

When trying to fish in Cerulean Gym in Yellow, it gives the message "Looks like there's nothing here." Ergo, no fishing in the Gym in Yellow. Bulbabulbabulbasaur (talk) 19:27, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for the information. I have edited the article accordingly. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 19:38, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Redesing

The redising in the Sun & Moon series is based on a real world japanese acuarium. --HoopsterJohn (talk) 04:13, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

why does it

why does it say that scald is tm29? Pikachu210 (talk) 22:13, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

cuz it is lol. a common theme of new games is that tms get changed entirely, both numbers and moves. it took me 30 seconds to google this: https://youtu.be/8YgL9XvY3-k?t=3699 --EternalDragonX (talk) 01:56, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
um,i'm pretty sure tm29 is psychic in all 7 generations and that scald was tm55 ever since the introduction of scald. so if scald is tm29, what is tm55? Pikachu210 (talk) 19:14, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
like i said, new games change tms all the time. doesnt mean they WILL change, but they can, as is the case here. it seems you did not take my implied advice from my first message: you can find a lot of stuff just by typing it in the search bar. https://youtu.be/3Wa1DXKKShQ?t=845 <- this took me 5 seconds to google. --EternalDragonX (talk) 19:37, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
In Let's Go, all TMs have been changed around. Plus, there's only 60 of them in these games, as opposed to 100. You can find the full TM list here --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:48, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
