Huh???
I was under the impression Cassidy owned this Raticate. Why isn't it called Cassidy's Raticate, if Cassidy is the only one who ever commanded it in battle? Not to mention, UNLIKE Meowth, Cassidy keeps Raticate in a Poké Ball. -- Glitch and Official Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. Does it belong to Cassidy?
I know in several episode's Cassidy is the one who sends it into battle, but I was under the impression Raticate had a similar role in Cassidy/Butch's team like Meowth has in Jessie/James' team. That's why it appears at the end of their motto sometimes. In Training Daze it walks around with Cassidy/Butch like Meowth does with his team, and at times Butch has used it in battle. I don't think it belongs to either of them, but was teamed with them by Giovanni. That's the impression Training Daze gives it. It appears on the roster with Cassidy/Butch. Also it wouldn't make sense for Cassidy to have six Pokemon, but Butch to only have five. Any thoughts?

Cassidy and Butch's Raticate
I think the article should be renamed to Raticate (Team Rocket). The Ratcate that Butch used in the Battle Frontier episode was most likely the same Raticate that Cassidy uses. I think they share it. Like Meowth it is a team Pokémon except it actually battles and has a Poké Ball. --ケンジのガール 03:19, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

- That content can be put in Uncle Trom's magical all-purpose Pokémon-holding infobox. Although it's a signature Pokémon, it's done nothing other than battle... on the rare occasions its been used. That's an important criteria, I believe. —darklordtrom 21:46, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
