Rename
According to the guidebook (which I don't currently have but Abcboy does), these values are known as "Go Power". While we ignore the official names of EVs and IVs due to the unofficial names becoming ingrained in the fandom before the official ones were widely used, there's no reason to use the unofficial name for a new kind of stat. --SnorlaxMonster 03:39, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
- The "Awakening" name is taken from a dump of text strings in the game's symbol table, so in a sense this is the official name that they use internally, as contrasted with the name they use in outward communication to describe the concept. SadisticMystic (talk) 14:25, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
- Purely internal names aren't official names. Internal naming only needs to be meaningful to the Japanese developers, not anyone else. Affect On Transfers
The article should probably outline what happens to a Pokémon's AVs/stats when they're sent to HOME or transfered into another game. Do they translate to EVs? IVs? Do they just vanish? This is pretty important information.PkMn Trainer Richie (talk) 21:25, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
