Thanks Echidna. I definitely should have added the notice earlier.--PhantomJunkie 04:21, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Apparently the new one is Healing Heart, not Greedy. --Gοldenpelt 16:52, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Claddagh Ring

I believe that this: Claddagh ring needs to be mentioned under Mamambou's origin. Considering it has hand-like fins sourrounding it's heart-shaped body I really think this is worth mentioning. I'd add it myself, but, yeah, the page is sorta locked. =p EmptyStar 00:52, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Well, if the evidence I gave wasn't strong enough, the newest pose Mamanbou's in shows its fins folded over its body, making it look even MORE like one. EmptyStar 07:17, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Redirect

Could an admin redirect Mamanbou to this? Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 16:54, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Category

I just wanted to point out that this page is the only Generation V Pokemon not in this Category: Generation V Pokémon. Thanks Kingdonfin 03:41, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

It actually has most of its categories missing. It needs to catch up badly. --Kaoz 16:29, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Sprite

Requesting Mamanbou sprite to be put on the Evolution section of its page.--Makupe 13:57, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Trivia

In the trivia, it is said it is the "Nursing Pokemon" while its species name is listed as the "Caring Pokemon" due to the -pedia currently recieve lots of newer translations as of late I'm sorry for nitpicking if it's referencing it's previous Japanese translation, however since the trivia is about it's English name it should be changed from one or the other. Again sorry for nitpicking but I figured someone else would mention it too. Zetaphrem~~President of Zeta-Tech Inc.~~ 14:24, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Name Origin

Should one write that the name shows resemblence to "Alemona", the Roman Goddess responsible for nurturing the unborn child? Squirrelfeet 20:41, December 19th 2011 (UTC)

Not if its a coincidence. Lapras sounds kinda like Mattress, or Phione kinda like "Phone". But since I can't see any reason why that is relevant, it doesnt go in. Its just a coincidence. Maybe I'm wrong about Alomomola but I can't see how unborn children nurturing Goddess is connected to a fish. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 23:20, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
I suppose, but the behavior of the Pokemon seemed partially relevant. Squirrelfeet 20:41, December 19th 2011 (UTC)
Alomomola is the Caring Pokemon and it heals the wounds of others; it even has "mom" in its name. It sounds like a perfect name origin to me. Ataro 11:31, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Oh I see, well that makes perfect sense then. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 11:38, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

Wide Guard Gen 9

Is the moveset accurate when it says Alomomola learns Wide Guard at Level 13? Judging by the rest of its moveset and the pattern it makes, shouldn't it learn it at Level 17 instead? 10smears (talk) 19:52, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
