Style (Lumiose City)
Style is a hidden progression mechanic in Lumiose City in Pokémon X and Y. Style is measured as a point score from 0 to 255, and the player can increase their style score through various activities around the city.
Achieving a high style score has various benefits, such as lowering the prices of shop items, unlocking additional items and services, and gaining access to certain establishments.
The player's current style score cannot be checked, but various NPCs will comment about how "stylish" (or not stylish enough) the player is when they use an affected service.

Non-player characters
In addition to the above benefits, some NPCs will change their dialogue as the player's style increases, and several new NPCs will appear in various places (mostly cafés) around the city as well.
- At 25 points of style, more people will appear in Café Pokémon-Amie (on Autumnal Avenue), Café Action! (on North Boulevard), Café Introversion (on South Boulevard), and Café Classe and Café Woof (on Vernal Avenue).
- At 50 points of style, more people will appear in Café Bataille (on North Boulevard), Shutterbug Café (on South Boulevard), and Boutique Couture (on Vernal Avenue).
- At 90 points of style, more people will appear in Café Gallant (on Estival Avenue), and Café Triste and Lumiose Station (on North Boulevard).
